Hey there. My name is Zach. I have been watching anime regularly since I decided to watch Death Note on August 24th, 2013. The first anime I saw, after Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh in my childhood, was Bleach back in 2010. I saw a late filler episode on Adult Swim and it got me interested enough to go and watch all that was available at that time online. After that I didn't really watch much anime until I started watching Cowboy Bebop sometime in the summer of 2012, and then going and watching all Highschool of the Dead as my first completed anime. Sometime after that in the summer of 2013 I played the Corpse Party video game and was turned in the direction of the anime 'adaptation' Corpse Party: Tortured Souls and was promptly scarred for life, not because of the gore, but because it's the worst anime I've ever seen. Then I watched all of Manyuu Hikenchou and Death Note in August of that year and have since been watching anime (almost) every day. That's the long and overly drawn out introduction to how I got where I am today. In terms of reading manga, I don't do it much. I read a manga for the first time on August 7th 2015, when I started and later finished Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. Since then I haven't read much.
What my ratings mean.
Everything I rate on MY LIST is rated strictly for enjoyment. In reviews I try to rate things a bit more objectively (But I don't write a ton of reviews so you'll only really see my in the moment thoughts on whether or not a liked a show written in the tags). I'm all about the storytelling. Everything I give a 10 to on my list I consider a personal favorite that I was able to enjoy to the fullest extent. With so many favorites it leaves my favorites list to only hold the shows that impacted me the most in Bleach and Haruhi, despite stuff like Clannad, Black Lagoon, Eureka Seven, Gosick etc. not being all that far behind, and almost just as important to me. I am very lenient person. I like the majority of anime I watch and I try to generally be positive towards most things, but what can I say, I'm a cynical bastard at heart. I've found it harder to enjoy anime if they're poorly written. My opinion on anime has changed drastically ever since I first started. So you may find a lot of the things I say very hypocritical if you then go and see my list and see that I've given things like OreImo a 10... We all started somewhere. We all enjoyed shit shows at one point in time. That part of me is near gone. Though I'll admit that I'll still enjoy some trash from time to time.

Thank you! I'm glad I could accurately get across why it's good, it's such a misunderstood series. Always a pleasure to see other people enjoy it as well.
Greetings human, I have came in peace. I am sorry for being uninvited for this holy place of yours. I have seen the show Uchouten Kazoku ( the eccentric family). I wanted to discuss it with people. sadly the people i knew weren't that eager to discuss it with me or there wasn't that enough of people that liked it enough to have a proper discussion with me. Either way, i wanted to talk to new people. I want to seek new people and new opinions. whether i disagree with them or not, i shall gain some new perspectives and stuff i am sure i am not aware of. the other reason for me to do this is to make my conversation skills bigger and better. i want my critical thinking and my expression skills about anime to go higher this way conversations and discussions will be more effective and more fun for both parties. I wanted to talk to as much people as i can. i have went to the anime page in MAL, and have looked over the people who gave good or positive scores for this anime. I then later went over your profile and made sure that you have relatively good taste, regardless if i disagree with you or not. I have selected people who have a profile picture which indicates that such person like is OK with being social, or i assumed. i am sorry if this not the case and i was mistaken. This massage you see here have been sent to the dozen of people i have selected by hand. i made this massage unnecessarily long so i can trust you are comfortable with me talking to you in long posts in the next days to come when we discuss the various topics, specifically Uchouten Kazoku. I am again sorry for the intrusion and regardless if you are OK with me talking with you about this anime, i wish you a good week and successful life.
Hey, thanks for the compliment man. There are a lot of reasons why Kimi no na Wa should be nowhere near the top 10, let alone number one, but what really pisses me off is this. If you compared that movie and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (the anime with the number 2 spot), and asked yourself which is better, it is flat-out impossible for anyone with a brain to point to Kimi no na Wa.
I'm confident that it'll get to the top 4 eventually. Probably when it's officially released, or when more people see it and get fed up with the circlejerk.
Oink Oink = man, you wrote some awesome reviews for Mushishi and Now and Then, Here and There. Keep up the good work. We need more people like you in the world.
Well, it maintains the "every other show" trend that PA Works seems to have. At the very least, the next show from PA should - if the trend holds - be fantastic. Silver lining!
