| Hey MAL, I thought I wanted a puppy so bad until 2 nights ago when I went to some dude's house for an afterparty with my friends. There was a pup there and she liked me quite a bit, but the only thing I could think of was her possibly peeing on me for some reason. I thought owning a puppy would be a dream, but nope. No thanks! Maybe I'll create a pup cafe instead, hire others to do the maintenance, and then I can adore pups from afar while spreading happiness to others... Any other folks here who aren't a big fan of pets? |

| Dogs are awesome! They're just annoying for the first year or so but once trained, they're fine! I hate how they want to gnaw at everything they see when growing up, though. Stressful times... |

| I love dogs and have one, but I'd never get another one, my dog's legs seem like they are starting to hurt, and my mum said that if she starts to not be able to to play with us or get excited when we give her treats or just not acting normally we might have to look into putting her down and she's only three. :( There's no way I'm going to put myself through it again if it has to happen. |

| Yes, right now I have 5 dogs and 1 puppy ^_^ I think it's good idea that you didn't get a puppy. There are people who only like puppy because they are cute but doesn't really want to take the proper responsibility of being a pet owner, so the dogs end up in poor condition. |

| You have to train puppies for them to behave well also they don't stay small long unless it's a small breed. I love puppies and kitties <3 I don't like having to take care of them sometimes. I have had both cats and dogs and I think cat's are easier because they dont demand you play with them all the time. |
| I only like cats cause they are cute. But I don't own a cat myself. I only like to look at pictures or cats of other people ha ha. I guess I'm a bit too lazy to "maintain" (giving them food, training them so they don't randomly pee just somehwere in the house) them. It's work - not only fun. (Similar to having children - which some people think they are just cute ... then realizing it is a lot of work ... and then doing a bad job where one might think "they should have thought about this first before having children".) |

| I don't dislike dogs, but I'm very specific about them. I only like dogs with upright, pointed ears, long/ fluffy fur and no high-pitched barking. So basically, I like Eskimo Dogs, Norwegian Lundehund, Japanese Spitz and similar breeds. I'm more of a cat person. |

| Anyone who loves puppies just like to objectify cute things in the same way that creeps cat call, stalk, and pet women. If you truly loved animals, you'd treat a dog the same as a chicken or snake. But the fact is you only care about particular animals, and specifically particular animal traits. I bet you wouldn't even bat an eye for an ugly wild dog. |

| I don't mind dogs like any other animals but not a dog person. Find them quite a hassle imo, having to constantly clean up after them and take them on walks. The idea of having one as a pet.. Nah thanks, I'm gooood. |
