| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So the final confrontation between Naruto and Sasuke... Between the flashbacks, it was pretty much what I had expected. Seems like both of them didn't hold back either in their fight as well. Thankfully, I think the battle did capture both of their memories and journey up to this point pretty well especially when supplemented with that music. Sasuke's power is quite something else compared to anything before. |

| Pretty good episode for the first half of this Naruto vs Sasuke fight. Didn't drag with too many flashbacks, and was paced well enough. I also like that the fight included more taijutsu at the beginning which is always appreciated :D 5/5 |

| I'm sure all the idiots that thought the episode was going to be in black and white are feeling really stupid after seeing this. I like how they added some good old-fashioned hand-to-hand combat at the beginning of the fight, that was a nice throwback to the greatness Naruto used to be before we got DBZ god-level powerups and shit. This episode was adapted pretty well, and I don't think any of the flashbacks were extended. |

| Ahhh I skipped the Kaguya arc in the anime and waited to see this (I read the manga). They didn't disappoint with the level and style of animation that they used for this episode (because Naruto's animation style changes from episode to episode and most aren't even watchable for me). Good old taijutsu reminded me of the good old Naruto days where the word "ninja" suited them more before the DBZ explosions crap. Good episode. |

| Good episode, Looks like they're delivering for the time they took off. I loved the hand to hand combat in the beginning, Reminded me of the good old days of Naruto. I don't dislike the current blast and flashy fights but it's nice to see the series going back to it's roots even for a short scene. I find Sasuke's reasoning and stuff mostly bullshit but I actually think it would make for a very interesting spin off if Sasuke actually won here and succeeded in making his version of Konoha. Lot of flashback integration but it wasn't all that bad. I liked seeing them again with the Sadness and Sorrow(That's the one right?) soundtrack. |

| We all knew what to expect when they took 2 weeks off so that their OG animators can work on this fight And quite frankly if anyone was disappointed with this, then you're a fucking LIAR....GODLIKE EPISODE AND EASILY ONE OF THE BEST OF THE YEAR |

| Was that fight's animator director Naoki Kobayashi? Cause that's some good stuff right there. Though you can see Naruto still pales in comparison to Sasuke when it comes to pure taijutsu. |

| I had extremely high expectations for this battle and it delivered in spades! The studio is really putting everything they have into this final battle. The taijutsu battle was well executed. The transitions from scene to scene was fluid. The art is considerably better than what it was before and the soundtrack gave it a big fight feel. The pacing was great and even the flashbacks are well placed. Normally I hate the Naruto Flashbacks more than anything in this series (after nearly 500 episodes, you'd think we know the story by now) but I'm totally fine with it being here as it added even more drama and emotions to this battle for the viewers. This is probably the first time this series where I didn't get annoyed with the flashbacks. |

| Damn!! This was way above Pierrot's standard animation. The fight was amazing, the clashes and the fact that there was not that much talking during the first fight scene. So fluid! This was well worth the wait, I couldn't have asked for anything better after knowing what they've given us for the last 100 episodes or so. Even the flashbacks were really fitting inbetween. |
