It's so much better to watch this anime at night, with the lights off. It gives you the perfect atmosphere =P This anime is slowly starting to grow on me =) |
| The first arc was made of complete and utter suckage (can I use that word? Suckage? :P ) However, I think this episode was probably the turning point of the series for me. On top of that, watching this with the anime club in a dark room with no windows = FUN. Because I mean really, prior to this episode, everyone thought that this was the anime equivalent of the entire Snakes on a Plane minus Samuel L Jackson + annoying shojoesqe girl. Ugh. But yeah, the series is looking up. |

| Finally, the creep factor is beginning to build a little. No easy to solve mysteries here. Of course they are using something that always creeps me out: Dolls. It had to be dolls...And the window thing was pretty spooky now that we actually get into the visual rather then just knocking and odd sounds. The visual is a pretty scary thing. |

| I never thought that this episode will be scary!!! Everytime they show the doll, I always look away because I know that doll is creepy. lol I almost cried when they show the doll's head rolling to the camera. |
| Maybe there is poltergeist inside that creepy doll and Ayami can communicate with it? Anyway, IMO, this story is more exciting and intriguing than the previous one. So cute Ayami... Kawaii ^____^ |

| In my short anime carreer, I thought I would never see anything as bad as Umineko no naku koro ni again. Boy was I wrong. Well Ghost Hunt is undoubtedly slighty less bad, but because it seems to take itself more seriously it becomes a lot worse. While Umineko had the excuse of dwelling into the fantasy realm -- and has since become cult due to its B-movie feel -- Ghost Hunt uses cliché plots with cliché characters/dialogues and cliché shots to almost no purpose and no novelty. But now I know it and I'll try to enjoy the show for its B feel. Even if this is obviously an entry-level anime, it's definitely rated too high compared to Ghost Hound for example which I found a lot creepier. |

| Thoroughly creepy episode. I could tell the doll would be possessed or something from the moment I saw the damn thing. Then again, the episode's title is "The Doll House". Knowing that actually made it a lot more creepy. It just had to be dolls. |

| Not a bad episode, but I was kind of disappointed that he used the same method of hypnotizing everyone to see if the item would move just like he did in the previous episodes. I was hoping for a completely different story, but this arc seems to be an apparent poltergeist that seems like it will be the effects of a kid with psychic abilities just like the last story. I hope I'm wrong, but it just seems like the same plot all over again in a new setting. |

| This was at least 10 times better than the previous 3 episodes combined! This reminds me a lot of modern horror films but this episode went straight for the good stuff. The slight jumpscare with the doll's head rolling to the camera was a really nice touch. Looking forward to seeing the truth behind this. |
