| Everyone has their reasons to act the way they do. It's just Kikyo has nothing to really restrain her, so she's going to do what ever she wants. She comes back to see the man she loved is in love with another woman and the monster after the jewel shards is still around and has possession over some of them. Not to mention when she was alive the jewel was whole and it's Kagome who shattered it. It's like taking your whole life you made and turning it upside down. So I don't really blame Kikyo for acting the way she does, but it's also not Kagome's fault that things landed the way they did either. |

| I really liked Kikyo in this episode. At first I thought her character would be quickly dismissed, but she's here and now in charge of her destiny. Bringing a third gray power in the plot opens a lot of possibilities. |

| Kikyo was really different this episode. I don't know whether to classify her as villain or anti-hero. Great episode though! I love Kikyo driven episodes, always very entertaining. It's confusing though why does she want to let Naraku get all the shards and then kill him? Very confusing. It was interesting to see everybody having those dreams, I felt most bad for Miroku's because you could tell it was really affecting him. InuYasha seemed to realize during his dream that he should be trying to protect Kagome and not Kikyo and towards the end of the episode it seemed like he's now more concerned about protecting Kagome. He might now consider Kagome much more important now than Kikyo, well at least it seems that way now. It's too bad that the jewel shards were stolen from Kagome, Kikyo is always horrible to Kagome. And whoah, Kikyo is very smart I loved how she deduced that Naraku is a half-demon. Naraku was pissed lol. I loved the final scenes of Kikyo talking to herself about how her soul is much more free now. Kikyo's a very interesting character. Very great episode, I really enjoyed it. |

| Lovely episode. Although appeared to be antagonistic most of the time, I knew Kikyo was holding her own plot to punish Naraku one day, even if that would mean letting him into the rest of Shikon no Tama fragments. |

I understand her motivations, but her method are questionable to say the least. I also feel so bad for the gang. They had gone through a lot of shit to get those Shikon no Tama shards, and now it's in the hand of their nemesis... |

| Fuck Kikyo... really. I can't stand her at all, and pretty much the only thing I hate in this anime with a passion. I see that her end goal is probably good, but this isn't the way to do it. Sure, you don't want to help Inuyasha because of your hatred (which is stupid, since we clearly know that the whole thing wasn't his fault, so all this is now is jealousy), but that doesn't mean that you should give more power to a fucking evil demon guy so he can just kill more people to get what he wants. What a great idea -_- I would laugh so much if she died by Naraku's hands because apparently she thinks she is so much more powerful then a demon who is made up of thousands of other demons... Aren't you a little overconfident? |

| "How dare she defy me" - says the guy who basically killed Kikyo Kikyo really showed some badass side, planning to send Naraku to hell after he gathers the jewel. Too bad she acts so mean to the main gang Feel really sorry for Kagome, the jewel shards gets stolen and she has this vision of Kikyo and Inuyasha kissing. |

| so kikyo helping naraku achieve his goal to get hands on the shikon no tama in order to kill him once he become a full demon? i have hard time to understand her and which side she's on, though it seems she hates naraku. and inuyasha half blind not helped the story at all, i'm not saying he need to choose but at least he should have an idea how kikyo and kagome feels... |
| Kikyou seems to have changed. Even though She knows Naraku was the one that set up and made her and Inuyasha kill each other. She doesn't care about it anymore and more in line in getting back Inuyasha her own way. Kagome changed her. Since she wanted to change Inuyasha by herself, but it seems Kagome beat her to to the punch. Still the illusion didn't work on Kagome due to most likely having Kikyou's powers within her. Seems Kikyou also knows Naraku is still half demon. Guess that's why he wanted Shinkon Jewel in the first place. Also, it seems we now have another power play on the table. Naraku, Sesshomaru and now Kikyou. Gonna be interesting how this unfolds!! |
| So Kikyo has her own score to settle with InuYasha, but I think she just wants to go on with he priestess life and so stopped Naraku. |

| This put a solid ground for future episodes about Kikyo and her new life, in the past I never understood her intentions and her ideals were too vague and illogical for me to understand. Now she is different than being shackled by the chains of the Priest now she can be herself more than anytime, I'm glad she isn't the a dead brain half zombie, now I can easily look forward to her next actions. And a big reveal about Naraku being a half Yokai blew way. |
| Kikyo's actions don't make an awful lot of sense overall unfortunately, it would be a better idea to leave the jewel in Kagome's hands instead of letting Naraku get the full jewel and no one knows what will happen then. |
| Don't you love it when the main villain recaps the last episode? That was pretty clever lol. What does Shippo have against Naraku in this anti-Naraku gang? For a "main" character he's used rather sparsely. WTF is Kikyo doing? At first, I thought she was confused but nah, she's completely aware of her actions. She's overconfident thinking that she can beat full-demon Naraku. At least we understand her and Naraku's goal a bit better now. Kikyo's past life before she was killed must've been obnoxious for her to let out all this anger like that. She's free but this freedom comes at the cost of her peace. Or she might think this is peaceful in her own way. Either way, liking Kikyo's character though it's completely different from what I expected. |
