What else comes out (unless it's from a related series) doesn't really affect the size of the boost. It can affect the requirement to get into the rankings, but that's determined by the amount of things that come out, not how big they are. This is a relatively quiet week in that respect. And lol at people judging series' success based on how many copies they sell in two days. ![]() Bestselling light novel volumes of the year/all time* (and more in the same club including weekly series ranks etc). <-- No longer being updated. Nice to see that Re:Zero's boost has already started. Since the start of the story is its weakest point I expect the sales to become even better throughout the next weeks. Still as a completely new series that starts out slow, it's holding its own against those bigger series, great! :) ![]() Modified by Fappa, Apr 14, 2016 5:29 AM |

I don't get why don't they since the sales of e-books should be easier to count than paperback books. I would assume Oricon does count them, because it is essentially the same procedure when placing an order for a physical copy or an E-book copy of the same thing on Amazon JP. Amazon JP's job is just to report how many copies they have sold, so I don't see how they can't do such a thing. If Amazon JP don't count E-book copies, there must be some sort of reason why they don't do such a thing. Do they have a fear of over-counting the number of sold E-Books if there are problems in delivering the copies over the internet? Who knows... ![]() The News Club: Quality News/Discussion (anime, CDs, manga, novels, games, seiyuu), & sales data (daily, weekly, mid-year, yearly). ![]() |
