| That was...amazing. The OP was very catchy alongside the OST. Sakamoto being a baller was a pure joy to watch. Can't believe how well the art&animation was since this was a show created by Deen. Definitely dark horse comedy show of the season. |

| Sakamoto is GLORIOUS. This anime kind of reminds me of the manga (and upcoming anime) Handa-kun, except Sakamoto is 100% aware how fabulous he is, while Handa thinks everyone hates him. They both gather followers/admirers in similar ways though! :D |

| Sakamoto is overpowered in completely different sense than any other character in anime. I was a little worried whatever the anime will have some shortcomings, as the awesomeness of the Sakamoto's movement is better for still manga panels but nope, the anime is just as great as the original, or maybe even better. The visuals are great, there is that catchy soundtrack as well and lastly there two out of my top five male voice actors in this show. Midorikawa Hikaru and TOP one by a mile Sugita Tomokazu with whom even that scene in which those guys play the volleyball is good enough. With this voice actor it had the exact same feeling like talking about nothing in Gintama. And now... how on earth I am supposed to compare this anime with the other animes that came out this season? |

| Awesome OP, lots of potential hype and seemingly all round good however I really liked what I thought was a throw back to a recurring scene in Cowboy Bebop with the three old men, Antonio, Carlos and Jobim. The three 'troublemakers' in this episode had the scenes playing catch where they made pointless idle chat repeating each others same lines "Yeah he got us" - "That he did" for around 20 seconds or so and I think it's amusing that this could potentially be a little hidden link back too them 3 backup characters in Bebop. |

| I was a bit worried as to how this would translate into an anime, but I liked this episode. It seems to be adapting the manga essentially panel-for-panel, so if it's consistent through the whole series we should see the whole manga animated and I think it'll be pretty solid. Maybe not groundbreaking, but should be a fun show. Really liked the music too, the OP and ED are great and the piano/violin that plays whenever Sakamoto does something cool is great. |

| Excellent First episode. This show is hilarious. Good OP & ED Song. The art & animation is great. The VA for Sakamoto is perfect & works really well. He is so damn fabulous & stylish. Love his poses. When did he have an umbrella when he was in the toilet? That was pretty funny & those repetitive sidesteps. Even the bullies love him now. Sakamoto saving the bird. Sure got some amazing luck there. Also having a little duel with a hornet using a compass. So cool. Studio Deen doing a great job so far. Looking forward to seeing more. This could potentially be one of my favourites for this Spring Season besides JoJo & BnHA. |
