| I have a question. So is the Japan Special Region, a new planet that you can transport to? Or is it just a flat land? Because apparently when they try to buy the map, it only shows one big pile of land. Or maybe that's just how far they travelled in that world? Or maybe the other world haven't realized that their world isn't flat?? I'm confused. Can anyone help? It briefly showed in the episode when the Japanese officers were escorting generals/officers of other countries. And when they went ahead and bought a map in the local shop. |

| Pretty good episode, I'm really liking Sherry. She's way too mature for her age. Pied Piper is the assassin after the Itami squad, For some reason I think it's that servant Tyuule always speaks to. "There is no such thing as objective journalism", The sad truth. Though honestly even the media only writes about the things they want the public to see and often end up exaggerating small issues. All these officials only care for their demeanor and the country's image, At least he finally gave the go for the operation. Looking forward to see the SDF wrecking the Imperial army. The SDF knowledge of the planet is limited to the continent controlled by the Empire and they only know the geography of the places they have explored. That's why the map they made is mostly just land. As for the citizens of the planet, Don't think it has been stated if they believe their world is flat or round. |

| Pretty good build up episode that has me hyped for the next episodes. The fight at the beginning was okay nothing to crazy and kinda short but listening to Sherry...I swear she is not 12 lol. Hated the prime minister in this episode even if what he said made a little sense since the ambassadors and media are there which I bet something stupid is going to happen with that one journalist. But yea at least the prime minister changed his mind at the end and are sending troops to save the jade palace which is probably going to be a pretty intense and crazy battle. The other part of this episode was Itami and co finally showing more than they did in the last episode showing who this piper guy trying to kill Lelei which should be interesting but also got me wondering how are they going to fit all this in 3 episode, I'm hoping for a 3rd season! But yea overall a good build up episode to this next one that is called empress in slave clothing so Tyuule probably going to do something big next. Hoping they'd reach the capital on time.. 600km should be around 1-2 hours by copters.. And Itami's crew doing nothing is pretty lame.. They even skipped the Minotaur part.. I bet the author is saving them for Pina's rescue and Itami killing Zorzal is probably all sorted out from the start. Hoping for lesser death for the cute Jade Palace knights.. If any one of them dies in a scene, I'd riot.. XD |

| I am just hoping with only 3 episodes left they wrap everything up properly and not rush it all. I would love to see itami save the princess and crush that fool zolshitface. I have a feeling Pina is going to be put through hell this upcoming episode. Sherry is a badass for her age, make a great queen someday. Maybe they will set her up to be the ruler of the Empire sometime down the road. I am hoping they pied-piper situation is sorted out quick and the action can get back to the empire and jade palace. I have a feeling this will be drawn out and there will have to be a 3rd season to see the actual conclusion here. |

The PM was really stubborn, pissed me off a little bit though....but finnaly he approved it :) and.....DAT cliffhanger....i want them to end it while they are fighting though..... i wonder who is that assasin who is trying to kill leile.... There is an Offical Map of the GATE World that covers more than the land shown in that picture map... http://i62.tinypic.com/10rmtcm.jpg AS you can see this the approximation size of the whole continent that they found themselves in..They call it Farmart...The area shaded in circle is basically the territory that the JSDF has explored (where the map on the anime shows)...The parts shaded in purple is where the Empire has control at around the time the JSDF invaded. The area that are red is where they have no influence, basically other territories or other kingdoms.. the approximate size of the continent is about 1/3 of the Euro-Asia continent of our world..but that is just one continent..as you can see at the bottm left..there is even more land that even the empire has not explored so the area is way bigger than what was show. The world of GATE is much bigger than what we have saw..trust me..there is plenty more to explore than the JSDF Can dream off. |

She's probably been trained alot in the needed skills for a noble (like someone above said). ..which isn't really that different from the real world where the son/daughter sometimes are prepared (iow, trained etc) from an early age to take over the parents big company. I read about such as a case not long ago where the daughter got a huge amount (in $) of stocks from her father when she was quite young, just to prepare her for what would be coming later on. In that world it would probably be even more common, especially in regard to diplomacy and politics. I mean, step on the wrong toes and.. |

| Just for your information. According to the original novel, Noriko went University to study French before she was kidnapped from Tokyo. That is she is now a quadrilingual (Jp, En, Fr, and the language of the empire). So, it was natural for Kuribayashi's sister asked her to settle a trouble between the French media and the local villagers.  I'm sure the SDF and the Japanese government really wanted to hire her as a mediator but she decided to choose a more neutral position between Japan and the empire. |
