| As some of you are aware, the MAL Rewrite Club was recently revived. The goal of the club is a simple, but challenging, one: to rewrite all anime and manga synopses in MAL's database. We are happy to announce that, thanks to many talented writers and editors, the club reached its first milestone: 100+ synopses uploaded! This is a small but very crucial step. And since the MAL database is vast, the Rewrite team must expand to include more volunteers to carry on with the good work. At this time we're looking to recruit:

About the Editor Application, fixing the errors involves some amount of rewriting as far as that text is concerned. What we're looking for is a final product that's readable, free of grammatical errors, punctuated perfectly, and with a quality good enough to go on the MAL database. |

| I've read a couple of your synopses and I've got to say they're a lot better than most of the wikia/ANN/Anidb synopses. Nice job. Keep up the good work :) I'd love to help in some way, shape or form, but at the moment I'm more fixated on adding missing characters and manga into the database. We wouldn't mind that, but we'd prefer it if you waited till you received our feedback from the first try and used everything in your next attempt. It would be great if you could leave a short gap between your applications. This isn't a timed recruitment; Rewrite is always recruiting, so you could re-apply anytime. |

Personally I don't think that this is a particularly great idea but I don't pay attention to the summaries enough to actually care. If you guys don't mind doing that extra work and the summaries don't actually get worse then just keep doing it. |
