Shows like FMA:B, Steins Gate, HxH, Gintama excel above others solely due to their % of 10's. (Sorry, I have little idea about the other entries in Top 10) Judging by ERASED's current % of 10's/9's (32.9%/37.7%) respectively, it's bound to fall after reaching 9.00+. And as Protaku mentioned, it'll take a hell of an ending to boost it's ratings. |

| People fanboy too much over Brotherhood to be honest. It was pretty good, but not the best . Just does a good job at appealing to both casual and hardcore fans. As for Erased, top 10 and maybe top 5 wouldn't be a surprise if the story stays as good as it currently is. There's been a lot of anime that start out strong and just fail to deliver either at the end or midway through. Let's hope this one doesn't do the same. |

Not bad like Toei or anything, just really really average or barely above. their color selections pretty superb and it always fits their shows really really well especially in scenery heavy titles like kimiuso and grimgar. theyre also one of the best studios in capturing a broad spectrum of atmospheres, from the nostalgic summertime mood in anohana to more serious and suspenseful moods like in bokumachi. as far as character design goes, theyre pretty proficient too as they can balance realism with their designs. face shape, noses, eyes, AND HAIR in particular are a+ in most of their shows. one thing i like in particular is their hand anatomy; one scene from asterisks ending animation comes to mind as well as a lot from kimiuso (not the cg performance scenes lol). overall, everythings super pleasing to the eye (no harsh color clashing and they often use pastel colors which is a personal plus for me), so from a self taught artists perspective theyre what i aspire to be like. |

| No. There's a massive difference between 8.95 and 9.25 Top ten is likely though but I would not expect above 9.10-9.15 at the very best, and that's ignoring the future concerns that manga readers have rightfully brought up |

| Can we stop with the overhype please, I really like this show but it's annoying when it is mentioned all the time or such threads about rankings are created when not even half of the show has aired. OT: I don't think it will reach #1, FMAB has been there for a long time, I believe the only entry that can surpass it is Gintama (2015) when it finishes airing. Nevertheless, if BokuMachi continues like that and doesn't go downhill it will get a pretty good ranking. Such shows, with a more serious, mature tone and engaging plot are rare nowadays. Like I said though, only 4 eps have aired, so we can't really call it AOTS and stuff so early on. |

People are already overreacting and calling it anime of the year and shit. I'm glad people are liking it a lot, but seeing people gush so excessively over it just puts me off for some reason. I'm probably more just surprised that the anime got so much attention though. I thought it was gonna be more under the radar than it is, rather than it being the talk of the season, because usually MAL taste is complete shit. |

Maybe you haven't seen enough visual trainwrecks this last year to appreciate how this looks. The only (recent) A-1 show that fits "average" is Gunslinger Stratos, and that's being very generous. | I think the short term goal for the vote spammers is get up over OPM, then they'd worry about getting the precious up to number 1 after it's done to show that "shonen shit" what for which again is what I'm convinced this is about as much as anything. I just can't buy it somehow, like nobody I've ever met IRL or even otherwise in a more direct setting gets as enthralled and just completely and utterly blown away by entertainment as anime fans often claim to be, especially the MAL community which feels strangely detached from each other in practice, but always ready to jump on the hype bandwagon for something in theory even if nobody ever seems to react to one another or exchange ideas so much as is sure to get their copypasta one liner comment in their about how a show blew them threw their wall and hit them in the kokoro. Every so often somebody dares to break the mold, not tow the line and say something different or even critical about those shows and then you get the direct interaction as everyone comes to shit on them for not being a true believer. Just....shitty community stuff pretty much. It also just reminds me of those youtubers that have to always make every video the most dramatic on screen reaction to stuff clutching their head and face pulling and flipping out cause otherwise they think it won't count or people won't get the idea or something. The best part is people probably think I hate this show just because I'm not gushing about it profusely and laughing a bit about the people that are to such an insane extent and that's probably the most ironic part. |
