No joke the corpse, I just tend to naturally go into this position when sleeping. Arms crossed over chest, legs wrapped around each other straight as a board. Like a vampire, it keeps the warmth in.

Freefall master race. Also those "personality clues" have no scientific base and are a bunch of mumbo-jumbo.

She looks fucking dead in half of them.

Soldier usually, but I slip into Foetus as well.

I do take medication for alertness, my sleep "architecture" is whacked out so I don't fall into deep sleep easily.

I use my blanket as a body pillow, it's the most confortable way, since without my arm would be too heavy and weighting my elbow. An alternative is the Soldier with something on my chest.

What does your sleeping position have to do with your personality?

I'm neither gregarious and nervy underneath nor super sensitive at heart

This chart is bullshit

Foetus and free faller are the best. Soldier when I'm drunk.

I sleep between 2 to 9 hours, depending on the day.

Yearner. While the description is somewhat accurate, I only sleep like that because it's the most comfortable position for my stomach. I seriously doubt sleep position actually means anything.

Nah it's not , it work for most .

Scientists believe the position in which a person goes to sleep provides an important clue about the kind of person they are.

Professor Chris Idzikowski, director of the Sleep Assessment and Advisory Service, has analysed six common sleeping positions - and found that each is linked to a particular personality type.

Yearner + one arm under the pillow is the closest.

NEVER sleep on your back, it can be lethal, more then once i wake up in the middle of the night chocking on my saliva, its very distressing and potentially lethal.

Freefaller looks like an annoying as hell position to sleep in , i mean you are pushing your lungs against the matrice as you breath, very awful sensation.

I either sleep on my back (soldier), or I sleep on my stomach, with my arm under the pillow (freefaller variant).

I have absolutely no idea how people are capable of laying down in the fetus position; I've tried it a few times, but it seems impossible to me.

I don't have a favorite Sleep Position, I just turn around from the one Side to the other and repeat until I fall asleep. Most common Positions for me include Foetus, Log and Soldier, albeit I have the Head turned to the one or other Side in the Soldier Position, the Log is not 100% rigid and I tend to bend only my Legs for the Foetus.

According to the All-Purpose-Description, I'm a gullible, quiet and reserved Person who is tough on the Outside but sensitive at Heart. There might be some Truth to it...

I do that too sometimes, though I do it while lying on my stomach rather than on my back.

Interesting. I am a "yearner". I really like sleeping on my side, either right or left. I don't usually have my arms outstretched like that though, at least not as I fall asleep.

How long do you sleep ?

I get my healthy 8 hours.

do u have any sleeping disorder/problems?

Insomnia is an issue sometimes. While I do tend to get my regular sleeping hours, it's usually in bursts through the night and day. My sleep schedule is a huge mess that changes constantly.

I dunno, I go to sleep in the freefaller, and somehow wake up under my matress with my sheets wrapped around my face

A pair of eyes appear disguised,
I take flight and stay high in paradise,
With bad luck, snake eyes, a pair of dice.
I'm paralyzed, she speaks twice, a pair of lies,
It's parallel, apparent hell of parasites.

Haha fantastic thread! Instantly thought "STARFISH" when I saw the title but I actually sleep with the Yearner and Soldier positions (and kung fu fighter sometimes ^^).

I usually sleep about 8 hours, body clock won't allow me to sleep in sometimes.

No sleeping disorders but I might have a self induced nocturnalism. I feel sleepy during the day time and it might be caused by my odd sleeping patterns.

I used the soldier sleeping position the most as a soldier in boot camp. You don't really have a lot of space to move in the sleeping bag and you'd probably use your uniform as a pillow, so the position appears naturally.

Otherwise, freefall, constantly drooling over the pillow, only moving to shift the blanket around. Feels absolutely amazing.

60% of the time Solider and the rest a position that's a weird cross between foetus and yearner; one sides curled up the other is stretched out, so comfy :D
