I'd go with medium.

But I'd watch a 3 cours show and <10K views... so if ever you've finished this summer, you'd still have time to change your challenge for the hard one.

Sorry for the ignorance but, what's cours mean?

I can't explain it properly but it's linked to the number of episodes (and it's one of the challenge that is harder to achieve if you chose the hard difficulty challenge). The FAQ on the first page of this thread explains it very well.

Thanks in advance!

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Lots of Yanderes there.

Thanks for that, I'll consider it, but does someone have few more options, preferably one cour animes, but I'd take two cours as well ^^

zombie_pegasus said:
Cour refers to the airing period and is only applicable to TV series. One cour is one anime airing season which is three months. It would not be surprising to not understand it as Black Rock Shooter with 8 episodes and The Disappearance of Yuki Nagato with 16 episodes would both be considered one cour by most people even though one is twice as long as the other. In the past anime would take long rest periods without breaking the anime into separate seasons so although The Big O took 14 cour to air it was only actually airing for two of those and should be looked at as a 2 cour anime. Katanagatari is only 12 episodes, each being 50 minutes long, but it only released one episode every month so it is a 4 cour anime. Chi's Sweet Home is 104 episodes long, each being 3 minutes long, and four episodes were released every week so it aired over six months making it a 2 cour anime. Princess Tutu had 13 episodes which were 24 minutes and 25 episodes which were 12 minutes. It aired over four seasons making it a 4 cour anime despite being the same length as a 2 cour anime. Anime with short episodes such as Teekyuu are still the same amount of cour that they took to air. Kekkai Sensen was intended to be a one cour anime but the final episode was delayed well into the following season. Although it took two seasons to air it is still a one cour anime. Kiss x Sis (OVA), Flag (ONA), and Magic Kaito (Special) all have 24 minute episodes and have 12/13 episodes like one cour anime do, but since they are not TV type anime and do not have regular airing schedules they are not considered to have "cours". Magic Kaito was aired on TV, but it was aired as a special series it was not aired one episode per week. Anime that are split into separate seasons are treated as more than one anime. For example, Kirarin☆Revolution is a single anime that is 153 episodes which makes it 12 cour. Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream and its sequels Dear My Future and Rainbow Live are 51 episodes each adding up to 153 episodes but they are three separate 4 cour anime.

Pretty much sums it up. It's basically a series under one title that runs multiple seasons (24-26eps; 36-39eps; etc).

Thanks! On that note...

Anyone give me a few two-cour recommendations?

How about Higurashi no Naku Koro ni or Durarara, since you have both of them on your plan to watch list.

Was wondering if someone could help me with this: » Watch an anime recommended to you by another Anime Watching Challenge participant.

Also I have a question about this: » Watch an anime one-/two-/three-cours (or more) in length (easy/medium/hard)
Does this apply to anime that are currently airing in this season? e.g: Ansatsu Kyoushitsu 2nd season.

Can I also use any anime that is airing this season as an entry. e.g: Prince of Stride: Alternative for » Watch a Sports, Martial Arts, Cars or Games anime

For your question, I think you can, as they just started and will finish this year.

I'd recommend Working!!, Gin no Saji and Hyouka for you.

Yes you can. Ansatsu counts as two cour once it is finished.

I need a recommendation for the recommended by another participant category. Anything goes, but something absolutely brilliant would be nice.

Also, "Watch an anime with an archetype as a main character", will the Berserk (2016) do? If not, anyone got any recommendations?

No, they don't have to be together from the beginning.

Not from the beginning, but the anime has to focus on them and their relationship. Something like Golden Time (to give an example).

This is my first attempt, I hope I can complete it >< I chose hard because why not, I have faith in myself!

I want a recomendation for the challenge please, if someone could give me one. I would prefer if it's not in my plan to watch. Can be anything besides ecchi/harem/fanservice/etc. I would prefer if it's not too long (around 25 cap max, can be a little more). If it's not in the top 30 or so, better (can be in it).

Thank you for you time! ^^

EDIT:Also, a question (reading the question above me). How do you know if I completed it in 1 day? Or do you belive in the contestant?

EDIT2: For the director/composer/studio I don't know, what's the base for that? Like, not having watched any anime from "x" studio, and then watching one for the first time (it would be the first anime I watched from that studio), so that would count? Is that the point of that specific challenge?

Nana is more music than relationships but relationships does play a key role. So I think it qualifies.

You know, I think I realize that I"m probably, too picky to do this challenge. I want to do it but it doesn't seem like it's going to work. I mean, Out of the 5 I've completed, I already dropped one porn, I mean heavily implied hentai anime, and am not really interested in Great Teacher Okizuki or however the hell his name is spelled which would be under the 'Watch an anime that has a main character that is a professional in his field' category. And I just want to rewatch a lot of anime for this challenge.

Yeah, so I'm not going to do the challenge this time but I will be more than happy to hang out on here and help people though.

You might be interested in Mobile Suit Gundam 00. It's divided into two 25 episode seasons. There's also Akame ga Kill.

For your first question, there's really no way to prove it, but the closest thing is to use your list to record start/finish dates. I mean, there's no legitimate benefit to cheating on this challenge.

For the second edit, from what I gather it's possibly one you've never heard of prior to the challenge. So I guess just start exploring titles until you come across a studio/staff member you've never heard of. You'd be surprised, you may even find someone in your favorites.

It works, sure, but I feel that it isn't ideal because the main focus of the show isn't on Hachi's pile of relationships(Hachi x Mean Man especially) or on Nana x Ren. It's primarly about the relationship between the two Nana's and how it is strained by each of their immature decisions at times. So if even though it is a "Romance" anime, I'd actually file it under the "Anime about non-romantic relationship" challenge before I'd say that it focused on romantic ones.
