| How does a show get to be this corny and this cool simultaneously? The 90s are oozing out of this. That dude forging the spear looked positively mad and fascinating. His "I've had enough of this shit" attitude was the coolest part of this episode. I hope more is explained about him soon, because that was the best part. What was up with Hyou suddenly appearing for all of one five second scene? |

| This is absolutely hilarious and easily one of the silliest things I've seen in a shounen series. I can't believe how downhill this show has gone since the 4 "chosen" have appeared. Obviously it's rushed a bit which is part of what ruins this, but geez. |

| I liked that each of the girl's got to play to their strengths; Saya with the barrier, Reiko with being unafraid and brash (girl who's attempted suicide 4 times and been stabbed, etc). Honestly, compared to the last two, I didn't feel any real pacing issues like everyone else. I am a bit confused on why Ushio can still use the spear if he's a beast, but I guess at the same time it's hovering beside him, more like guiding him. The part with the mother and baby was a bit confusing, since it seems like it's the spear that will attack (even though the spear cannot harm humans), but I guess there's no limitations to Ushio himself killing humans with his claws or whatever else. Pretty sure the spear was just guiding his body towards anything that was moving to kill, with or without the spear. And I'm sure the little details of the comb and how and why that works will be explained later. |

| Looking back at this episode, I kind of loved the whole "we don't have time for your tsundere crap" from Yuu. Mayuko may have the patience to enjoy Asako's amazing lack of self-awareness. But understandable that the other girls don't necessarily have any reason to indulge her. Yeah, obviously Asako has a powerful inside track here. But that doesn't mean things are going to work out for her at that rate. My god she's less self-aware than even Tora. |
