| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Mm, so Saya is introduced. Her voice sounds sleepy tbh. As for the episode, it felt slow and generic. I think she is kinda cute though and doesn't seem to get along with Julis.  Saya's weapon is quite something though....seems quite bit big for someone of her size? LOL. Ayato's skills again showing in this episode somewhat. And oh yeah, I figured the show is never shy from the fan service as usual. Dat Claudia. |

| I must say, even though I hate the tsundere trope as well as most characters that fall under it, Julis isn't bad at all And I must also say that so far I really like all of our main girls but Saya is just way too fucking great lol xD (Claudia is still best girl though, and that ending bruh) I am very interested in these Ogre Luxes btw, and like the whole compatibility thing because it makes things that much more interesting. Still, I am hoping to find out more about them as well as seeing other ones (I wonder if Saya and Julis both has one) The action scenes were pretty good and I was really impressed by Saya too because her Lux is badass. I'm also impressed by Ayato too consodering that Saya hyped him up sp much and we kind of got to see him back it up by claiming his sister's Lux (Which btw, I love her too but damn she had to be OP if she tamed that Lux) Overall great episode, visuals were really nice and the OST was good as usual..... Loving the dynamic between the characters already too |

| slightly better than last week. But it still feels flat in terms of char chemistry. Still early days tho. One more ep before i decide on continuing or dropping. Claudia seems like a likeable char.. and the guy that got rejected by the sword.. antagonist material D: |

| I literally watched through that whole episode without realizing it wasn't the second episode of the series I watched last week. I just figured it was some plot holes that would be filled in with flash backs. Episode seemed alright though, would say I prefer the other series though. |

| Fairly relaxed pace this week. Welp, 3 girls fighting over him already. Saya the monotone blue haired grenade launcher wielder eh? That weapon was certainly aggressive. :D Nice Claudia fanservice at the end there. |

| And here I thought that I had enough of this formula... nope I don't. I enjoyed the episode a lot accepting what this story will be about and all fanservice scenes, which in comparison to the first episode didn't bother me that much. |

| Yeah I really like this. It may be formulaic or whatever but I'm entertained. I also just noticed that the director is the same as Mahouka's (which I liked). Love love loooove the OP sequence and music. I mixed up some of the setting from Rakudai into this show and got confused at some points though. Brain, what are you doing >_> |

| Bland character archetypes everywhere. The blue haired chick is annoying as shit. This series has given me nothing to care about. I was sooo surprised that our generic main character had great compatibility with some overpowered weapon. Very creative. I think I'm done with this. Another example of all magical highschool light novels being the same fking thing. |

| Julis looks amazing, especially in that beautiful ending. I am impressed, main heroines usually have this generic look about them. |
| Oh tsunderes. And how I love them. 2nd episode was nice. Lots of cliches as usual but I knew what I was in for when I started this series. So it doesn't bother me. The ED was so damn beautiful by the way. And this was my favorite moment from this episode because I can relate to Saya here.   |

| It's sad how series like this make sociopaths and perverts like Arata from 7-nin or that guy from other magic school series with a big breasted sister or whatever look more like a real and reasonable guys. The hell is with blushing just because of some body contact or skin exposure and spouting crap like "they are touching me"... Even the most sheltered person wouldn't behave like that retard. How about writing some actual characters instead of lumps of the shittiest cliches in the existence for a change? |

| "My bed holds me hostage" BEAUTIFUL. "How tragic, i don't need them yet" I think i found my favourite character this season, and one that might hit my all time faves... <3 Saya. That ED was beautiful. As far as plot goes, they do seem do be introducing more than they seem to be, but it's still keeping patient pacing... I'm glad shows like this and GATE are taking their time to tell the store instead of cramming episodes full of content. If not much happened, but you can come out of the episode excited for more, then it was really well done. |

| No more griping peeps, the anime was made for japan, watch like a japanese, or watch something else if it bothers you. And unless you're around a bunch of sluts all day (or no girls), most girls are conscientious of their breasts, even the tough-nosed ones. Real life is full of cliche's too. No reason to be annoyed by them. There's more of familiar things because watchers and writers alike desire those things, so they keep showing up. Anime is a unique media that is tightly connected between fans and the creators. There's a dynamic of cohesion that creates a dedicated and culture loving community. It's done familiar with familiar tropes INTENTIONALLY, not because they ran out of ideas and reuse old ones. The wold of anime/manga/games in japan, particularly akiba, is already one of if not the most prolific and imaginative fiction sharing mediums in the world and it's still not good enough, still gotta get hung up on particular details instead of seeing how the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts... Enjoy it, appreciate it, maybe even love it (or not), but quit being toxic to the interest in anime. Thanks. Antanaru said: Yeah, he was being sensible to the girl, and frankly, being a kid. | Slow, boring episode which is clearly meant to help develop the characters somewhat, but fucking hell was it dull as hell or what? Feels like I just wasted 23 minutes on this for nothing other than a good ED song. |
