| Despite Shirayuki being a strong, resourceful and independent female lead(and a good character, overall), this show was unfortunately a little dull. It did a great job avoiding the pitfalls of many shoujo, but I just wish it was a little more interesting. It was clearly a mistake on my part that I expected this to be similar to Yona of the Dawn. That all being said, Obi and Zen's brother were good characters. I liked them a lot. Also enjoyed how the series reminded me of older anime. Whether it was the tone or the atmosphere, I can't really pinpoint it, but it felt like an anime from the 90s. |

| I thought I would be able to see the Shirayuki dressing up as a princess and dancing with the prince bit that the ED/OP kept showing/hinting that...only to get this cop-out and then coming onto here to find out there will be another season. NUOOoooooooooooooooooooo~~~~~!!!!! Other than that, eh....It was my fav series from this season that I looked forward to the most every week I have to admit but with that great climax in the previous ep only to lead to this more underwhelming last ep [of this season] I can't help but feel like....well...like "WTH?? That's it?! WHYYYYY...." kind of feeling... |

| Akagami no Shirayuki-hime is one of my favorite manga. For that reason, I was really worried when I saw the announcement for the anime because more often than not, anime based on shoujo manga tend to have small budget and they receive low expectations from those who are not a fan of shoujo manga. After watching the last episode, I think the anime did a decent, not great or amazing, job of adapting the manga. I could go on and on about all the flaws in the anime but in the end, there's no point in complaining about what's been done already. And so, I am overall satisfied with how things turned out. There were some really beautiful scenes (such as the lights in the last episode) and I liked how each episode made me feel calm and relaxed. Now I will look forward to the second season and hope that Bones will do a slightly better job at adapting the manga. |
| Pretty nice final episode. Quite enjoyed this show, so I'm definitely looking forward to the second cour. Hopefully it'll be just as good, or even better. This show had a strong female lead and the romance was fantastic. 8/10. |

| Nice finale for first season. It pretty much sums up Shirayuki and Zen's development together (with more to come). It was often dull at times, but this was pleasant to watch every week. Expecting more on January. 7.5/10 |

| I found the show to be interesting in the first half before Izana came in, then it became boring after. Izana's a good character but the show itself got boring once he was introduced. Plus I wasn't really feeling the romance. I guess I'll check out the second season. 6/10 |

| Solid 6/10 Dialogue was overly cheesy and repetitive. Show was kind of dull but had some flashes of decent drama. Enjoyable in the sense that the romance did not drag on, and hopefully will develop in the second season. It is rare to see a couple get together before the series concludes so I'll give it that. |
| Good ending to the first season. Really developed a lot. Nothing too dramatic or epic. Mostly slice of life with small obstacles to overcome. I'd like the next season for them to visit Shirayuka's family. |

| So this episode highlighted Open Castle Day. This was such a fun episode and I love how everyone's feelings were conveyed through out. I'm glad to see that everyone supports Zen and Shirayuki's decision to want to be together! The play change was hilarious and Obi giving Shirayuki the hairpin was cute too. Waiting til January for the second cour is going to be hard, because I will definitely miss this bunch of characters every Monday! Overall I give this a 9/10! Music, characters, and story were all amazing! |

| yo niggaz, i want moar now dat shit was so freaking cute, made my heart go doki doki There have been some great shoujo this year, Akagami stand in them. It had a slow start and had a lot of cliche, but it didn't affected my enjoyment. Where it truly shine is in its characters. Zen is more fleshed out than I would have thought. Shirayuki was just amazing. I can't never get enough of a strong woman lead. It really change the dynamic when the female lead isn't just despicted as an accessory. |

| Rated to low imo. This show pretty much is perfect to me. Lovely story, interesting characters, conversation, and plot progression. Gorgeous OST. Pretty art. It's either going to get the solid 9 it deserves or a 10 because I literally have nothing to complain about. Every episode was lovely and engaged me in the story each week. While it is no drama epic, it is an excellent anime for it's genres. And damn that OST is so good. Confucius said: 5/10, nothing happened in this show. I mean...seriously? |

| Man this was one of the more enjoyable shoujos that ive had the pleasure to watch. Nice finale, the lanterns were a pretty touch. I'll definitely be watching the second season, really no reason not to. Gotta say the ending song is great, one of the better ones of this season. Also, finale with Obi stepping up his game. Please please please let there still be hope |

| I agree with a lot of others they should of rearranged the last couple episodes. This was a good episode but didn't feel like a good finale episode, the one before it would of done a better job for that. |

| Oh man, Shirayuki and Zen had such great moments in this episode. The play was the best bit, when Zen intervened as the knight and defended his princess. ; ) Shirayuki looked so pretty in her outfit though, dayum~ Obi winning that jewellary for Shirayuki was quite nice too. Ending the episode with the lanterns going up into the night sky was perfect. I'm looking forward to the second season next year~ Overall, solid 8/10. Had a great time watching Akagami no Shirayuki-hime. |

| This show was okay but to me it got a bit dull towards the end.. I disliked the many speeches about love Shirayuki made. Just so dull. Too much narrating. So yeah, the show had good sides and I'll watch the 2nd season but I hope it'll be better without boring plot points. |

| Kinda filler-ish last episode and that Tangled-like scene was a straight rip-off I almost sang "I See the Light". I like Shirayuki, she's without a doubt one of the best shoujo leads around.. I actually prefer her (slightly) over Nike. The stories too, managed to avoid the most common shoujo cliche with all the political problems and other stuffs (it's kinda refreshing not having to deal with love rivals etc). That being said the relationship between Zen and Shirayuki itself still, unfortunately, fell flat at times. How do I put it? I think they should've hooked up much earlier because on Shirayuki's part, she should've realized that Zen was nice to her because there was an ulterior motive (love). It's quite amazing that they managed to stay nearly platonic for 11 episodes and it's because of that platonic-like relationship, they simply didn't exude enough OTP aura for me.. well, aside from the very cheesy confession of course. The fact that I still consider Jitsu wa Watashi wa the most romantic anime this season indicates just how bland I feel the romance here is. Then there's Izana, who simply doesn't serve any purpose and would've been better saved for the 2nd season. Overall it's a decent shoujo, not amazing but not bad either.. it's at least a huge improvement over the garbage that is Ao Haru Ride and Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji. 7/10 |

| That was so beautiful. This whole series is beautiful. ;_; Objectively (somewhat) it would be an 8 but it's really seldom that an anime can make me so incredibly happy almost every week so I'm giving it a 9/10. |

| It's ended... Have to wait till next year for the next one is a pain, though. At least the 2nd cour is confirmed.. Nice series overall. (9/10) I enjoyed seeing Shirayuki throughout the season. She's definitely one of the best female character I've seen so far. Too bad the ending is anti-climatic, and there aren't even main antagonist in this. One conflict wouldn't hurt, isn't it? |

| I loved this Anime right from the start. The well-written characters, the great setting, the soothing and peaceful atmosphere of it all, man, everything was just great in this Anime! I love Shirayuki and Zen, their romance was top-notch too. 8/10, making this my AOTS. I can not WAIT for the next season! |
