| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Mm so more fighting between the two teams and strategy analysis. Some parts of it felt slow tbh although I don't mind with the background story with Nasu Unit. The Nasu Unit are actually quite impressive now that I think about it a bit. Hell even Yoma is struggling. Those girls on the Nasu Unit earned my respect though for their determination and will to be united. |

Akane actually did a good job setting traps like that to slow her opponent down, but alas her opponent was Yuma. At least she got the rest of his arm.Aww, after all that buildup I was kinda hoping that Akane and the rest of team Nasu would do a bit better. Still, in a way it's kinda refreshing to see an anime that focuses on tactics and abilities rather than spirit. (I'm looking at you, most shounen animes.) |
| So it was true. Shimazaki-san's character... didn't know he got left behind... The otaku-shi sniper girl, who doesn't want to miss a last chance to fight together, lost to neighbor guy. lol @ FukuJun's character keeps joking and Kugimiya-san's character keeps getting tricked. The female attacker wanted to win, but the opponent is too strong. Neighbor guy vs. that guy (for real). Chibi explanation on bail out with the sniper girl and neighbor guy. |

| More action with the B-rank wars. I felt bad for Nasu squad after seeing their little flashbacks, especially Akane since she's leaving soon. Not gonna lie, the way Yuma took out Akane was pretty badass. Him against Murakami should be good. And I love it when Kyousuke trolls Konami. The rocket launcher lie he told her was ridiculous lol. |

Nasu Squad had great teamwork and I liked Kumagai in particular, but honestly what I've really been waiting for is Yuuma vs Murakami. Yuma seemed very confident so I'm sure he has something planned. I wonder how he's going to beat Murakami's side effect.  |

 Episode 45: The Thing That Decides the Battle Poor Hyuse. Mocked by Konami and tricked by Torimaru. Nasu x Kuma?! Toei sure is listening to fanbase :3. Best part of the episode is when the bgm started playing around 08:30. Yuuma vs Akane was intense. Murakami vs Yuuma next episode, plus Nasu's b-cage.lol Punch Rocket |

| more detailed backstory on nasu team. but strangely, the flaskback nasu team not supported this team to win like shounen anime-style. overall, the west side battle is satisfying. I wonder how the east side battle progressing. |

| Hyuse's "WTF" face when he was trolled by Karasuma "It's a lie" that he was called an elite by Jin was hilarious XD Konami's trust in others is so cute. She's so naive it's adorable. Keeps getting trolled. Nasu squad are really nice girls. Like them all now, feel bad but Yuma and Ko are just on another level. Love that Kuga stayed. This should be great. Still waiting to see what Ksamu and Chika will do. PV seems hype! |

| SEE!! This is why i loooove World Trigger! Spirit only makes a difference in battle between 2 opponents of Equal Skills. I love Kei's commentary = Beautiful pride and respect for kouhai. But i really do feel bad for Nasu squad, having your last dreams crushed is .......sad. |

| HYUSE ON THE COUCH. XD I didn't think there were enough eps left to show what happened to Hyuse but yay for that! Also, more please! FukuJun is always amazing and was especially funny here, hehe. XD Loving the action. Nasu Unit held strong to the end (and beyond! loved the bomb planted on dropped weapon!). How amazing when Kuga threw his dismembered arm into the view of her scope!!! Awesome. ITA with others re: skill over spirit (esp with shounen titles) - it's refreshing to see a more realistic portrayal of those two forces. Skill dominates in World Trigger. It's not to say spirit doesn't matter. Spirit can matter when opponents are equally matched with the exception that one has more spirit than the other. It may take them further in critical moments. Psyched for next week's ep! Still slowly reading the manga but I keep peeking at the Aftokrator arc bc it's my favorite. *can't help myself* XD I'm really enjoying the manga so far though! |

| This episode relied a lot on commentary and flashback sequences, and not as much on the action. I know this is very similar to the pacing in the manga, so it's not the anime's fault. But having Hyuse being included as part of the "armchair commentary" is a nice touch, in order to get a Neighbor's viewpoint on what's happening. I got annoyed with Karasuma lying to Konami not just once, but twice, during the episode. I find that this gag with Karasuma and Konami tends to work best in small doses. |

It's sad that Nasu team already lost two people, but I did enjoy watching Kumagai and Akane fight with all they've got. Tachikawa's comment about if spirit dictated who will be on top, then he wouldn't be where he is was also quite funny, though. Looking forward to seeing the fight between Yuuma and Murakami. |

| Yea I love Tachikawa, lol. Finally, the true battle begins. It still feels annoying how much they are forcing to make the nasu squad liked by everyone when I really didn't care. That sniper didn't stand a chance against Yuma from the beginning and the other girl just held on thanks to the sniper being a threat. Also I actually bought Karasuma's lie until he mentioned the rocket part. His serious face doesn't help at all. |
