| I think my first manga in Japanese that I read was Ranma 1/2 volume... 23? I think? I bought one random Ranma volume back in college to use as a learning aid when I was taking Japanese. I don't remember my first translated manga. It may very well have been Ranma 1/2 also. Not sure. |

| My first manga was Yu-Gi-Oh. Back when YGO was popular I picked up an issue of Shonen Jump with Yugi on the cover. [Issue 2 I think.] I was stuck with the 4kids dub so seeing Yami Yugi actually kill people was so awesome. XD |

| During my first foray into anime, I wasn't interested in manga – didn't know they existed (hey, I was like five or six). It wasn't until recently that I've first got into manga and it was the series that restarted it all, Hikaru no Go. That series led me to read Death Note, because of the tinniest connection of Takeshi Obata, which incidentally was the first manga series I finished reading. |

| I think my first manga was the old Pokemon manga. They used to sell them at the dollar store for a buck when Pokemon was "in", and since I was such a big Pokefreak, I had to have it... Mind you, I didn't know it was called "manga" back then. |

| I honestly can't remember if it was Sailor Moon or Ah! Megami-sama-- because I bought both at the same exact time, haha. I don't remember which one I actually opened up and read first, so I'll just say Sailor Moon since it was my favorite anime at the time too. |
