You know.. I've since been drawn away from internet geeking in the form of forums and commenting and such. I mean, I still participate in my club (almost 1400 members now), and that's about it aside from reading a few blogs. Of course, that's not counting the time I spend on internet dictionaries like http://sanseido.net ... looking up word after word after word. Haha.
Sadly, I haven't watched much anime. However, I have watched quite a few Japanese dramas. There's something about real Japanese people that kind of.. well, sets a good example. Plus, shows like Tiger&Dragon (タイガー＆ドラゴン) are really funny.
You know, even though my art history final project sucked the big one.. it was really kind of funny. Because it was a mosaic, and instead of using really tiny pieces, I used big ones, so the eyes just look like snowman eyes and the lips.. lol the lips.
Umineko no Naku Koro ni? Lol, an Umineko 「ウミネコ」 is just an bird. I take it, that show is part of the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni franchise? If so, then I'll definitely check it out.
K-On is definitely lots of fun. I have the Japanese subtitles for it, so I can use it learn any new words in it. (Fun+Learning? Can't beat that, especially with cute characters.)
Definitely all self-taught. Any time I ever think about some kind of class I either find out I can't get in, and/or it sucks. However... I would like to, you know, one of these days go to this school called AUA in Thailand and learn Thai. Just to satisfy my curiosity of the program. I guess people who complete it come out as native speakers of the language. (In this case, Thai, Chinese, or Japanese are the choices). Since I'm learning Japanese on my own, I figured.. well if my studying doesn't get me anywhere I could always try that once I'm out of school.
2011 is when I graduate. It will be in May. I just hope I can reach my goals with Japanese before then. :X
Peer tutoring is just students that, I guess they are good at one or a few subjects, and they work at the tutoring center to help others that may be struggling. I get paid an hourly wage whether people show up or not.. so money+homework time? Win.

I guess I got lucky sending you a comment when I did, since you said that you aren't on much. You don't have Skype or something by anychance? My entire skype list is all Japanese people, haha. I'd like to stop using MSN altogether one of these days and just stick to skype since it's IM and a phone of sorts.
Oh, next Monday.. that's August 10th, right? - My birthday. Haha, I still have that graphic you made for me with Kyon and Haruhi on it.
I hear you on projects! Haha, last quarter was terrible with Art History. I think I spent 17 straight hours on the final project. My back hurt so bad when I finished it, .. and it looked like crap. Haha. I still passed though. (Thing is, I had to have my video project, which took 10-12 hours to do in the same weekend.. so I was busy). So, this quarter I'm just taking general classes like Psychology, Physics, Speech and Computer Programming.
Well, they didn't take it away completely.. it's there, just doesn't work because they said it causes performance issues. So, the least they could do is delete that feature and just make it easier to do mass operations on your lists. It would take me hours to go through and delete all the series from my plan to watch. (A lot of which I might never watch.)
I think I have Nabari no Ou in raw. Special A in raw too. Lately been watching Gundam Seed (again) and K-ON! (seems popular?)
As for Japanese, well, it's getting there. I can say some simple stuff, read and understand a lot more, Japanese grammar isn't a problem anymore, I've gotten pretty used to it all. Read manga (with furigana) sometimes. (I have a volume of Nabari, which is actually really challenging to read because of the somewhat archaic words. But also easy because of watching Naru-toe way back when.. terms like Shinobi 忍, Kin-jutsu 禁術, Gen-jutsu 幻術, etc. Easy to learn. ^^
You're a secreary, huh? You know, I never imagined that to be a terrible job. I mean, probably just a lot of busy work. Atleast you get paid. It's good that your boss is nice. I have a nice boss. I am a peer tutor at my school. Unfortunately, a lot of the people that come down there don't care so much about their work, but this one woman that's come a few times really gets into it, and she likes the help and she's planning to put the skills to good use. So, people like that are nice to work with.

I'm doing really well. Thanks for asking. I'm glad to hear you're doing well. How's school? Your profile says you're like, super busy or something from work? I got my first job awhile ago! It's a real up and down kind of job if I do say so.
You know what MAL feature I miss? The one where you can delete your whole list. I only needed to use it once.. basically, I started it over because I figured since I'm trying to learn Japanese, it doesn't help if I'm watching dubs or subs.. so, I can rewatch everything over again in raw. Which.. is really hard to find sometimes. But, I've gotten lucky. Typically raws are of a higher quality. Though, I don't mind softsub, since I can turn that off and/or delete the sub file. So yeah..
What have you been up to all this time? :D
