Has Magi been doing that well? I really kinda stopped following it after the second anime season. I was semi-following the manga several months back, but has it been that good? Isn't the series supposed to be ending kinda soon? |

42. *25,755 *,*25,755 Kasane Vol.6 Well color me shocked. I never expected a manga like this to sell decently well. I'm enjoying it so far. It has a pretty unique concept, but it isn't for everyone. A very strange series indeed. Though I think more people should read it, it definitely is interesting. |

Agafin said: Kingsom is suddenly more popular than, most shonen titles. Seems like all the sales are due to a feature on a popular anime talk show a couple months back. Imagine if the series got a 3rd season, it hasn't had an anime since early last year. And the anime is considered by many to have been a significant failure in representing the series and overall boosting its popularity the way Tokyo Ghoul or TerraFormars or Attack on Titan did for their series. It's pretty incredible what it's done recently. I mean it was in the top 25 of best selling series last year, but right now it's top 10 and it seems very possible it will hold that top 10 spot. As a fan it makes me thrilled, and I'm hoping it can continue that trend. And thankfully the manga is really starting to pick up again. |

What's happened with Akame ga Kill? It seems like it's taken a massive downward spiral since the anime ended. Is the content in the manga alright? Or has that taken a downward turn? |

Will update the 2015 Yearly Manga thread on the weekend (http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1373137&show=0), due to little time available. I'll drop the weekly manga series sales though (untranslated). New rankings were also released by Oricon Youtaiju on Tuesday. Previously we only had Monthly Top 20 Manga Volume Rankings, but now there are Series Rankings. However, they only released the past 2 months instead of 6 as we have for the Manga Volume Rankings, so that's unfortunate. Here is some example of how i've already used the new monthly data for Ansatsu Kyoushitsu. Some other series will also see more accurate numbers on the weekend, when I have more time to update the thread and the spreadsheet. There is a 2 week overlap between the half-yearly ranking and these monthly rankings, so not all series in the monthly rankings will not have any new benefit from these new rankings. Current data as of July 19 *3 *6,695,800 Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (暗殺教室) 5,231,158 in the half-yearly list (up to May 17, 2015). 4,684,484 up to May 3 (minus the May 4~10 and May 11~17 data to remove the overlap) *,877,007 from May 4~May 31 *,385,647 from June 1~28 *,904,278 from June 29~July 19 New data as of July 19 6,851,416 Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (暗殺教室) The new data has filled in the missing data from the June 1~7 and the June 22~28 weeks for Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, where the weekly manga series thresholds were 154,397 and 91,553 respectively. Its current data now equals its max possible sales since all data has now been covered. One thing I noticed is that the number for Ansatsu Kyoushitsu in May, is slighly higher than the sum of the numbers from the Weekly Manga Series list for the 4 weeks of May, which makes me suspect that these monthly rankings also includes sales of volumes outside the Top 500 Weekly Manga volumes. The usual thing Oricon does is count all sales, and then discard any sales outside the Top 500 Weekly Manga volumes, but for this ranking it seems that they make use of these discarded sales. shaaaaan said: So guys,KINGDOM -anime or manga? manga imo, though the anime isn't bad if you can get past the horrendous animation. For whatever reason, they decided to use this 3D aniimation, but it's like the computers they used to create it coudln't handle it, so it's jittery as hell. However, it only affects the first half of the first season, so the first 15 or so episodes. The rest of the first season is more traditional animation, and the second season is mainly traditional animation. It overall isn't terrible when it comes to certain aspects, though it's censored quite a bit, I believe the story was changed around a bit in certain areas, and it just doesn't give you as much as the manga does. I think Kingdom's best experience is definitely the manga. And the anime only goes to I think chapter 200 or so? The manga right now is at chapter 440 and just recently the mangaka said the story just reached the halfway point, so there's plenty of content left. Go read the manga, I highly recommend it And if you like it, you can always check out the anime afterwards. |

But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion. http://www.classzone.com/books/lnetwork_gr08/page_build.cfm?content=analyz_media&ch=30 It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser.
