| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, that was actually quite interesting. Felt like a sci-fi/slice of decent. life with the introduction of all the main characters. Don't expect much action from this at all but instead I think the atmospheric setting and character dynamics are more important. Isla is the one I'm more curious about so far and despite the stoic tone in her voice, she has an amusing personality. Well, the episode itself had comedy especially with her trying to do some work. Animation quality is overall decent. A little fan service as well..nothing really explicit though. So far, it definitely has my interest. |

| This will have so much feel in the end I can tell. I'm loving the start and the Sci-Fi elements. This really is amazing. First time seeing something like this hope the build up will continue in this pace. |

| I'm assuming the story in the later episodes will be about Isla being about to (die isn't the right word but you know what I mean) and that will probably be sad. I think it should be about trying to find a way to fix it so the androids don't (die) because I think that would be better. |
| Damn that was good. Candidate for a Top5 of the season quite easily. I teared up at the end with Nina's "Will" until she started crying ;_; The concept of this series is really quite messed up though O_o! Why would u make living beings that have such a short life span?? I need more backstory and world building!!! All the characters are really likable. The art and colors are amazing :O Isla is kawaiii <3 Michiru is a likable tsundere :3 And Zack is so lol XD He's got some mad skills with how he took Eddie like that. I wonder what happened to Isla though. I'm sure her being a veteran isn't a lie. Something probably happened to make her quit. Really good stuff though. |

Not it is a bad thing...this first episode is good but when it comes to tragedy/feel focused shows i am weak against them :(... Another potential great series on the way so far :) |

| The world and characters are interesting enough but the retrievals are trying too hard to make the audeince feel sad. On another note, I thought the artstyle and coloring were very similar to Outbreak Company |
| The inconsistent tone is not as endearing as they think it is. How many seconds after a little girl crying because she's going to die and the protagonist loli peeing herself? Jesus christ. The levity keeps the show from building any atmosphere whatsoever, and the protagonist might as well be a cardboard cutout of a dark haired guy with a white shirt. Should've just made a VN instead. |
| The ending of this episode made me cry like a baby....That episode was pretty good I love the art style and animation of this series and the OST fits the mood of the series quite well imo, if the visuals can stay like this throughout the series then I'll be very happy So far the characters seem pretty likable and the concept and atmosphere of the show adds to them as well....I really like the concept behind the Giftia's and I hope that we get more info on them in general But the thing about this show that caught me by surprise was the feels....The main cast really has a tough job....Saying goodbye to someone you spent nearly 10 years with only to never see them again is really sad and the last scene with the little girl and the grandmother really hit me hard The comedy is okay and I expect the sci-fi aspects to come more into play as it goes on....I didn't mind the SoL moments either, definitely sticking with this one |
| Dat jump fail lel. Don't particularly like Isla,especially her silly/comedic relief moments. Piss joke was really out of place after the heartwarming scene. This seems to have potential,now whether or not it makes use of it...just gonna have to wait and see. |

| That was a great first episode. Best premiere of the season so far for me. Nice balance between the comedy and the feels, which is quite nice as I was concerned that it would fall flat in that regard. My high expectations have been made even higher now. |

| Man, such a good first episode. I can understand why no one wants to do that job... It really tore my heart apart when Nina was being retrieved...it must be hard to lose someone dear to you after 9 years. |

| I can already foresee a feels ending. Hopefully, it won't be too melodramatic and will maintain a certain level. So far, the cast is likable except Kazuki. She's pretty annoying with her bossy attitude. Character designs are similar to that of Mikakunin de Shinkoukei with some minor improvements. Isla's frightened face is cute and hilarious! She'll probably be my main reason to stick with the show. Expecting some romantic developments soon? As much sad Nina's retrieval scene was, the concept behind Giftia seems kinda weak. If they have the technology to build Androids that are pretty much like humans, why can't they provide them with a much longer life span? Unless they explain this in details in the next few episodes, it would just feel like a scope for the sake of building up feels. Nonetheless, decent start. No OP or ED? Probably have to wait until next week for that. |

| This is probably my favorite anime of the season so far. The atmosphere and setting is so interesting, not to mention likable characters and concepts. The ost is very nice as well. |

| Its safe to say that the last half of the episode catched me off guard ..all those feels..wow. i love the humor aswell and that "error please press doorbell" part made me laugh. easy show to misjudge if you only seen the first few minutes. very moving first episode! |
