Well I don't watch Toonami or TV for that matter but this kind of makes me happy. I thought Kill la Kill was great fun and it deserves the exposure. Look forward to seeing unsuspecting viewer's takes on it.

Isn't Adult Swim/Toonami just a block of programming, not it's own network?

Also, goodgreat, I was looking for a reason to watch kill la kill a 4th time

I disagree completely, but especially with Adult Swim's audience. Kill la Kill is over the top and bizarre just like a lot of their content.

You mean they don't already think that? Bedsides that TTGL aired on Toonami prior to this and that show is just as weird as this one.

Didn't that Japanese broadcast you watched have censoring? Somehow it didn't interfere with your enjoyment.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but not their own facts.

Americans have no taste in anime, it's always either shit, or silly.

Anime is suppose to be able to tell a realistically complex story for adults
Kill la kill is a child show

Anime is not ready for my superior taste yet

Americans are think that. To be fair most of the shows on Adult Swim are weird as hell. I know since I watch almost every night.

Exactly. I like how people who don't even have or care about Toonami are complaining about the fact that it might give a "bad image" to anime and Japan in the US. Give me a fuckin' break...

One of the best decisions they've made in a while. The block had become so mediocre, I had to stop watching. This gives me the opportunity to watch it again, at least for the first half hour. And great move by the crew for having it start off the block.

Most people tuning into adult swim usually have a good idea what anime is all about. We do have many other ways to watch anime, just like every other country. Nor do I prefer it dubbed either.

The anime was weird and had me uncomfortable at times, but its wild story and characters were what made the anime so great. I hope viewers can see that it's not something made just for fanservice like some other anime.

Kill la Kill seemed to be relatively well known amongst my friends who like anime but aren't obsessed. Not sure why people think it's a bad fit for Toonami. It is fun with over the top violence which is what the majority of western anime viewers seem to want.

This just what they need to keep the block fresh. It's a very good choice imo. They need to keep picking up Aniplex and Funi's hits.

The majority of western anime viewers stream and torrent these days and KLK is weird perverted shit (not that I mind). The majority of people watching Toonami are just regular ass people who just happen to be up when it's on. They should be trying to reel those people in. Why do you think anime like Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo were so popular with people who didn't give two shits about anime in general?

More exposure for Kill La Kill is always a good thing, as it's an excellent series. Will this be the dub or sub? (I'm ignorant of how Toonami/Adult Swim/CN airs shows they pick up, though from the list i've seen of broadcast programs, they generally get good licenses.) Another new audience for Kill La Kill adds to the fun!

The con to this is that it will most likely be censored.. :(
How to fix the review section, detailed here

The average reader (HS level) reads at about 200 WPM. So a 500-800 word review should take 3-5 minutes to read. That's an acceptable length for something you're interested in spending 25 minutes to 4.5 hours of your life watching.

Oh, and ANN requires any and all reviews to be 800-1200 words, no matter the length of the show.

Honestly, I do not care if it is a high-rated and recommended anime. I do not care for it, I want to forget the people who introduced me to this, and I don't want people, especially my brother, to learn about this. I have never watched it, I do not hate it, I just simply want the weaboos to calm the fuck down, to stop fucking quoting this, and stop fucking buying the DVD's when you can simply watch and download it online.

Read from someone that Toonami is not a children's network/block thing. If you just type it in google it's a adult swim section now.

As much as I love klk I have to agree that it's probably not suitable for people on toonami. Keep in mind that these people are not giant weeaboos and they'll prob think it's weird as shit. Toonami is just good popular anime shows and getting people into anime, and if they really do like it they'll find more on their own.

I'm really happy about this, i think its a perfect fit for toonami. One of the first memorable animes i remember watching on their was FLCL and that shit was supper weird and is one of my favorites. The more anime exposure in america the better!
