This episode had nostologia in it obviously. I think Obito was pretty funny as a kid. Pretty picture they got as a team there. |

With Rin, Obito and Kakashi Lol Obito XD Sounded like he was trying to take a dump lol when attempting the clone jutsu Dat commemorative photo, Kakashi and Obito looking off to the side, Minato forcing 'em to look at the camera xD hand to hand combat between Obito and Kakashi. Yep, you can certainly say Obito and Naruto's lives were almost the same when they were young. |

| I'll say the same thing I said when they showed flashback to Kabuto's life: "This should've been shown sooner." RANT STARTS HERE, feel free not to read :) I don't care for Obito, not one bit. I hate his guts. I find him lame, annoying and overpowered for the sake of overpowered. He is the exact kind of villain I hate the most. The one that gets all the power-ups necessary simply because. He had almost 0 development before showing on screen (what was it, 2 episodes of Kakashi gaiden and that's it?) When he did finally show up, he had great power which he used to its fullest until they learned it's secrets. He started getting beat up, after what he leveled up. That, however, didn't help him and he got his ass handed to him so he leveled up again, to Godlike entity this time. He's your typical video game villain. Final fantasy antagonist. You chase him whole game and then you have to defeat his 3 forms since he just refuses to die even though your lvl 99 party crushes him with almost no effort. Those kinds of villains don't make things entertaining for me, they make me hate them, for they are not challenging, but tedious. Now, if I had some backstory on him beforehand, if I had developed some emotions, sympathy for him, it'd be another thing altogether. This is why Orochimaru was such a great villain. We knew what happened in his past, we knew how things happened, what he went through and his transformation from slightly "lawful evil" to, I can't say chaotic evil, since he still does stuff which could be interpreted as neutral, so let's just go with evil :D Orochimaru had development, he had his established powers, and, where he lacked in power, he used his brain and cunning to make twisted plots. Obito had OP skill. Yet Minato stopped him nonetheless. Naruto stopped him as well. Then they beat him again. And again. And throughout all of that, the only thing that changes with Obito is how he looks. Make no mistake, when I first saw Kakashi gaiden, I loved Obito's character. It was a genuine, nice, heartwarming, heartcrushing story about a sacrifice for the ones you love. A story about a young kid who finally gets the ability to protect the ones he cares about, only so he could die moments later saving those same people. I was sad he died. I was also sad Rin died later on. His transformation into villain, as well as his actual usage as villain in the show is where I started disliking Naruto. After all these years, the "final boss" is the part where I started not liking the very first anime I ever watched. It's like Mass effect. 3 perfect games which made me love every second of it, only to screw up in those last 10 minutes with how blatantly empty it felt. This is how I feel about Obito and Naruto lately. Bland. Empty. Shallow. Worst of all, boring. /Rant done, sorry for that, had to get it out. I'll watch Naruto up until it ends, but not because I'm interested in it, I just wanna see it up until the end, now that I've spent many years with it. |
| I loved these flashbacks, they made the episode so intimate, and I couldn't stop smiling throughout the whole episode. I start to like Obito more and more. Good ep. 5/5 |

| When was it stated that obitos parents were dead? Also this episode made it seem like Rin actually liked Obito instead of Kakashi. Which is actually pretty sad for obito. |

| Pretty interesting episode. From the flashback I get the impression that Rin liked Obito much more than I thought, she cared for his lateness and bad results. I don't recall Sakura caring that much about Naruto. |

| Long story short, the ending of Naruto has made me pick up the anime again after several years of it being dropped. Feels like i'm swooping dust from an old book.. Surprisingly, i didn't hate the flashback. I wouldn't say i liked it taking the whole episode, but it was overall good and funny. Felt like i'm watching Part 1 Naruto again. Animation was very sloppy, but it's not like Pierrot should waste their budget on flashbacks. 3/5. Man, there are so many incoming things i want to see animated... |

| Damn. Obito was flashbacking quite a lot this episode. You can clearly see an angry Naruto at the end as Obito kept him hanging the whole time. XD Jokes aside, very good episode. Flashbacks like these are actually nice. |

| How can people rate this episode 5? I mean I understand 3/5 but really 5/5? This episode is missing so much to make it a perfect episode. The fact anyone could have skipped this episode and wouldn't even know makes this episode far less then perfect. Personally I've had enough of Obito's back story I've seen more then enough of it. Oh and I've had enough of Talking no Jutsu and Flashback no Jutsu... They even showed the same flash back twice in a row once without any sound and then with sound for no apparent reason whatsoever. The manga has ended, Isn't that their cue to speed things up? |

| The flashbacks was not that bad. Naruto still focuses on knocking some sense in to Obito. I felt a chill after they did that photo. |

| Well it's flashback time again and this time it was for the full episode. Though we didn't really learn something new, we knew already that Kakashi was a genius and Obito was jealous before. Basically this episode nothing happened... |
