| LOL there was Dutch in this ep. And it was actual Dutch (although kinda stiff). Usually when people are supposed to speak Dutch in movies or whatever they actually speak German. Apparently they sound the same to foreigners. But hearing Dutch words in between the Japanese babble made me giggle for the rest of the ep ^^ |

| uhm what the fuck, he's like an otaku for books with gay content. when he said 'wat, de brutaliteit', that cracked me up xD nice Dutch, the writers really did their homework there. behalve 'opperhoofd', which is ued to refer to the indian's chiefs.. not to someone of higher rank :p |
| Good episode, I like how Samurai Champloo isn't afraid to explore different preferences and cultures. I also thought the eating contest was hilarious, especially when Fuu turned fat :) |

| It's so weird hearing my own language in an anime. The guy with the mustache talked Dutch really well, even though the performance wasn't that great and the word "Opperhoofd" really doesn't fit this context (like, AT ALL) , but still, so much better than some of the Engrish we keep hearing to this day. "Wat, de brutaliteit!" From now on this will be one of my favorite quotes in an anime |
