| She seemed surprised that the sempai kissed her. I guess his love is one-sided. Learning from the very beginning... I've been to this point too x) Tennis is hard to figure when you start. It can be really frustrating, to see everybody hit the ball so easily and yours going in every direction. Man, nose-penis-kun is a good friend, staying all day with him when he's practising. It's almsot masochism at this point xD |

| i don't know why but for some reason the characters seem... how do i put this nicely uglier i really hate the art here there are times its good but times where they make their faces so long and unproportional. I cant explain it but its just wrong! |

| That kiss at the end! OMG! D: But honestly, I like Takuma for Natsu. Hate me if you will but seeing a confident person get a girl is more refreshing than the usual regurgitated plot of the underdog/loser getting the girl. Ei-chan isn't a loser, he's intelligent and people like him but despite that, it's still following the generic sports/shounen plot. |

| I'm calling that Takuma doesn't have a thing for Natsu and rather he's more of a big protective brother to her, he clearly doesn't show signs of romantic interest I don't think. The fact that it didn't show a good shot of the kiss at the end is a clear sign that he just whispered something to her and that it's going to be fuel for a misunderstanding! ... Or so I think. I also wanted to mention that the training we're seeing is great. We saw Maruo start running and learned he did it for a week now, we saw how much he's studying the logic and math of the game, and now we saw that he had a 3 hours wall hitting session. It's reminiscent of the training arcs in Dragon Ball when they were at their best(specifically the first and the karin arc). Comparing it to something like Days where the main character levels up from worst on his team to best in like an episode at a variety of skills is ridiculous and makes the difference clear. |

| Disliked. Why is the pretty girl talking to short, dweeby boy? Also no reason for her to be wasting time tutoring him in basics on the A court. Someone with a build like the MCs would have a hard time in tennis. The guy on the A court has a tennis build. |

| Nice episode, and as I expected, better than the premiere. Maruo's really that much of a perfectionist to maintain notes for a 'hobby' that he initially gave a shot, just purely for exercise. Still though, it was nice seeing him practice for a while like that and even before that, run to improve his endurance and cardio. The guy's definitely dedicated to improving in any areas where there are issues, and his physical body is one of them. What I do find really refreshing about Eiichiro Maruo is how he isn't gifted and has to work from the ground up to improve himself and get better at tennis. Even if he has some sort of advantage that the competitors don't, what would make him great in tennis in the future is his own hard work and analysis of his own game more than anything. Pretty impressive actually. |
