| You should really change the way your thinking. Reality is the world simply isn't and won't ever be fair. Sure you can do what is "fair" (everyone has different perspective on what is fair), but you can't always expect others to do what you think is "fair". Plus as long as they are not hurting anyone you shouldn't care. Here's my thought about the animals living luxuriously: People take care of pets because pets are loyal and they are pure (unlike humans), they help distress their owners and they give them love. A lot of species have been pushed to extinction by "us" humans plus we use them as food and other stuff. whats wrong if "some" people want to treat animals good? It's their freedom to do so. Just like your (and my) freedom to waste resources for our human hobbies etc, its their "hobby"/passion so why stop them? Plus aren't you being too greedy as a human? Most animals get treated bad, a lot just live their lives to be food for us. Some gets to live more comfortable for just a short time(their lives are short) and yet you want that small affection other people give to animals to be redirected again to us humans? -_- |

Chances are, you, without knowing it, are spending money on stuff that could've been gone to the people who are starving to death, and that doesn't involve the meat you're eating alone.
