And I'm a little glad that Yoshida is leaving, no one likes to see a character frowning all the time. |

| As much as I disliked Yoshida at his first appearance. He ended up being one of my favorite characters. Also, his VA was Horikawa, Ryo! Hearing Reinhard's voice actor talk about baseball was sure a funny experience. |
| I'm glad Yoshida is gone, he was weird to begin with... all glittery eyes for Tatsuya in the beginning, and thinking his shit don't stink after one measly pop-up and a strikeout against Nitta which he didn't want to face against in the first place. If they did have that bout for the ace position Tatsuya would have demolished him, imo Tatsuya is way better than Yoshida... miles. I was a pitcher myself for over 10 years, and played up to high school, and if I had a team I would want a pitcher like Tatsuya. Yoshida is all right but if things don't go his way, he would implode and you do not want pitcher's like that, also batters are getting too much contact on his pitches. Tatsuya is more talented and gives up few base hits which is the type of pitcher you want, furthermore can handle pressure situations. |

| WTF I can't predict that ending XD. Really hope there is a match between them and Tatsuya destroyed Yoshida, but whatever, that gay is gone now and I'm really happy :D |

| First, Minami was right to be annoyed, the first year girls are alright, but any other who is into Tacchan now just because Kacchan is gone, and they are finally realizing that they have the same face, should stay put on their places, they really mistreated him, and I hate this kind of shallowness. Now, I'm starting to really dislike this author, he seems to really dislike conflict like Tacchan. First he comes up with a love triangle, which was never compelling, and instead of working on it, he decides to kill off one of the members. Now, with Tacchan, and Yoshida's rivalry, instead of writing some good development, he makes Yoshida go crazy about it then writes him off, and now it will be like he was never there in the first place. The author seems to drive himself into a corner with a development, and then instead of making something compelling out of it, he just decides to take the easy way out, unbelievable! |

| That's another bullet dodged. It seems to me that this isn't the last time we'll see Yoshida considering this development but I guess him completely being out of the picture isn't all for naught. Now that Tatsuya realized that the ace title could be taken from him at any time. He's still quite passive about a lot of things do but that's what I like from his character. Very considerate even if all odds are stacked against him and I guess Tsunderes have existed for a long time now, huh? |
| Took them long enough to notice Tatsuya xD But well deserved. And Yoshida is leaving, meh, can't really say that I will miss him. |

| GG. Nice insert song. It finally feels like this show is able to weave the romance and baseball elements together in a good way now. Previously they felt like two, conflicting elements in the same story. Yoshida was getting cocky, I REALLY wish he was put into place by Tacchan even though his stomach was hurting. Yoshida transferring to Brazil was pretty anti-climactic. But I don't think this the same as Kazuya passing away. Kazuya's passing was foreshadowed in a good way since like the beginning of the story and when the episode hit it was a fantastic plottwist. It felt like the only way the story could move forward instead of just ending. The author was planning this from the start. On the contrary, we knew nothing about Yoshida's dad before this episode. It's like the author didn't know what to do with this character so he just retconned him out which is a shame. So don't compare the two. I know how it feels when a friend transfers to a foreign country but Yoshida became an asshole in the last 3 or 4 episodes so good riddance. Tacchan is finally getting popular. But his douchey attitude from before still persists. It's funny to see the binocular guy dropping his own 38,000 yen piece on his own LOL. Minami's right about the girls, she exposed their hypocrisy pretty well. I hope next episode will have an interesting plottwist too. |
