| Yeah, this is going that one show you need to watch uncensored to get the full experience xD. I've been hearing a lot about a potential blow up on Twitter and I'm curious to see how that'll go next week. As for this episode, well. I didn't hate it but I'd be lying if I said I'm up for this in all honesty. Levelling up, experience and sexual intercourse - busy world, I see. |

| Okay, anime wise this isn't really too interesting. Sure we got a revenge plot, but it's really only satisfying if you care a lot for the MC/hate the abusers a lot. Overall a decent start, kind of like Shield Hero. I guess it just gets "better" overtime, at least that's what I hope. Also not exactly a fan of how the characters are drawn, but I think I'll also get used to that as the episodes go on. I honestly do not mind the censored version (I am watching it casually anyways), but it might get tedious to watch with basically 2/3 of the screen covered in black. However I am more interested in seeing some other community's reactions on this series, like what happened with Interspecies or Shield Hero. |

Better waiting for at-x in a hour or so. _kuro_n3ko_ said: tbh, the episode was a little bit of a disappointment. anime is kinda vanilla compared to the manga. it only adapts about the first 4 chapters of the manga, and already so many things that were portrayed way darker in the manga is made almost wholesome in the anime. did they even go into the ulterior motives the maid had for seeing keyaru? the scene where freiya was stepping on keyaru could've been more gruesome too. when things are tamed down so much it could make it more difficult to empathize with the hero. hopefully next episode will be better. i'd be surprised if anything in this episode causes twitter to explode. this episode will probably be ignored. if this anime causes any controversy at all, it'll probably happen in the later episodes. Agree, was a bit subpar, maybe because they compress so much in just 1 episode that it feel rushed and anticlimatic. Anyway is only the introduction to the main events but doubt they will adapt the whole light novel or have more cours like Mushoku Tensei. |

| I was not planning to watch this, but since the crybabies advertised this anime so much, well, here I am. Perhaps I'll also stick into watching the uncensored version later on, because I'm not interessed in watching a black shaded muted slide show for the plot keypoint of the whole episode. |

| Not my thing, I could find a lot of enjoyment from Goblin Slayer, Tate and Ishuzoku reviewers both from the shows themselves and the drama surrounding them but I don't see any from this show, kinda sucks most of the discussion about it is basically "owning the libtards", "I'm just here for the shitshow" or "anyone who watches this is an edgelord / incel". |
| That this is revenge porn should come as a surprise to nobody, and I'll remind you that AT-X is broadcasting both the censored version and I believe five hours later, an uncensored version, but I'm busy, and I already hate it, so no point in sitting around for slightly more uncensored PG-13 pornography. yeah more of revenge porn, but the emphasis is firmly on the porn side. Literally the first shot of it is some naked woman being raped while he grins sadistically. There is a brief action scene that's not terribly animated, but 80% of the episode is either internal narration self-justifiying him taking revenge, or closeups of balloon-shaped breasts. That's how you can tell that it's a SUPER SERIOUS show. It's just so damn minimal effort on every level of the writing. He just says "heal" and it does literally whatever he wants. Steals souls, restores limbs, disintegrates people, rewinds time, do whatever (except turn him into a good character). Hell, literally the first power he gets is a magic eye that lets him see MORE status screens(ugh), and also gives him a long hallucination about his supposedly forgotten alternate future life. You could've made an interesting show about how that future shown to him was all a lie and he was manipulated. Or you could count as the typical healer girl of the party, you know those characters as useless as Sakura Haruno, Orihime they got tired of being just a healer and a irrelevant secondary character that do nothing and they decided to take revenge and usurp the position as the protagonist of the show ( something like they did in Munou na Nana) you would have thematic content and certainly That makes slightly more sense, especially when the alternative is about three straight minutes of "I'm having sex with all the maids to steal their brains." And then, without any resolution or purpose to that, except to call out "I totally had sex! I'm such an mature!": The episode |

| It's was so bad, broken and empty. It feels like am watching a high school project instead of an anime. The production values were low tier sewage, the music didn't fit whatsoever and the characters are a bunch of nothing. Truly, a creative bankrupt product that shouldn't have seen the light of day. |

| Apparently everyone forgot about Cross Ange. To compare this with Shield Hero or Goblin Slayer after only one episode? Clearly he main initiated however he found an alternative use to gain a different type of experience so that was obviously not reversed R. Having said that, there was hardly any movement during and was filled instead with monologue that had very little to do with the deed itself. Having only seen the first episode I don’t know what will happen next. This could be an Akame ga Kill or perhaps the opposite could happen and he might not lose himself like LaLuche or the MC in Death Note. Maybe? Certainly not very edgy yet. |

This premiere was second to Ex-Arm in terms of production quality. The story is centered on seeking revenge, which will appeal to those who liked Arifureta, Shield Hero, and Goblin Slayer. I'd say it's even edgier than Arifureta, shockingly. That was probably the most sadomasochistic episode of anime I've seen since watching an episode of Night Shift Nurses. |

| Bruh, 1st eps and we got all this, nice experiences the MC got there tho ( Ν‘β ΝΚ Ν‘β) The MC is wicked, the heroine is wicked, most ppl around them are all wicked. I liked that great swords girl tho, I'm so glad for her now she can go back in action again. Interesting 1st eps nonetheless, alr showed us what kind and where this series is basically will go. |

Seems that there's a whole category of anime that it's made with a stamp... At least this season there's some better stuff in the lineup |
