| Miki is so great at doing Sakamoto: another VA might have overplayed the shallowness of the character but his registers bring him depth, and the Tosa-ben, and this laugh, truly an all-rounded accomplishment. Plus knowing more about Mutsu is always welcome. |

| I really don't think the 50 million fits in there, Sakamoto. At least Mutsu was able to find a use for that pebble. Probably better than the bags, at least. It's funny how the bags couldn't fit 50 million but they fit a 5'11 154 lb man perfectly fine. I love how Katsura was making all of those things about him. He was still stupid during the Joi War. Excellent. Gintoki and Takasugi going back and forth can literally never get old. The faces Gintoki was making when calling Takasugi poor were so fucking good. I knew immediately that it wasn't Sakamoto giggling and that he was just going to throw up. This show really is abusing the mosaics, huh. Divine punishment! I never realized Sakamoto literally supported the Joi War. He's more of a badass than I was lead to believe. Gintoki's reaction to Mutsu being a former pirate was hilarious. Her wanting to be "girly" was funny too. Something about Sakamoto just deciding he was going to buy a ship is really funny to me. I love how they keep on getting close to showing the Commanders face, but something blocks it (like vomit). Them having no regard for Sakamoto's life was very amusing. Gintoki can't swim. Of course he can't. Where was this alcohol hiding? Her abuse of Sakamoto began early, I see. That rock looked pretty sharp... I love how her masseuse was basically just repeatedly stabbing her with the blunt object. It's not going to end very well for the Commander to try and backstab someone like that. They are dealing with one of the Four Heavenly Kings, here. |

| Finally an arc about Sakamoto/Mutsu. this episode was great. Totally loved the interaction between the Joui 4, we really need more of that. Gintoki makes the best faces lmao. Sakamoto's laugh is as funny as ever and young Mutsu was so cute, lol at her being a space pirate. |

| Finally we're getting backstories! Sakamoto makes me smile when he's on screen so I'm glad he's getting screentime. Also I've always liked Mutsu so it's nice to learn about her |
