| Finally getting to see more about Sakamoto and Mutsu. And seeing more interactions from Gin and co in the past :D Gin shit talking rich papa boys and all dem faces he made when talking about Takasugi were so lol The amount of F***s Sakamoto gives is so hilarious. He's so chill ^^ BUT WTF Sakamoto was ready to skewer the Granny with his hardy O_o Lol'd at The way they kept covering the commander's face with vomit. I guess that's a new way to not draw a face of a character. Sorachi was too lazy XD Mutsu was really cute when she was younger. Saying kidnapping slaves was a part time job was lol...I see blood in the PV. Can't wait to see how strong this orange haired girl is :P |

| Meh, was never really too interested in Sakamoto and Mutsu myself, certainly not enough to want to see some backstory material on them anyway. I'm a bit disappointed at the "to be continued" at the end of the episode as well, I hope this arc doesn't last any more than 2 episodes. |

| Sakamoto has such a beautiful laugh XD Sakamoto really knows how to make a first impression. Wonder if that guys deface will ever be shown. As soon as they brought up the word pirate I knew that they would try to fit a One Piece reference somewhere. Although I've never really cared about those two at all this was still a nice episode. |

| Was the door so thin that Mutsu could hear what the captain was saying? My favorite part was the flashback when they met Sakamoto for the first time. Probably one of the only flashbacks that had a comedic story. |

| I've finally watched this episode. I felt the pacing was fast, then I checked the chapters of this arc, it only animated 2 full chapters(477 and 478). In my own honest opinion, it has the serious vibes rather than the comedy vibes. The tsukkomis here are not as funny as the manga. Great job by Akeno Watanabe on voicing the young and cute Mutsu(she definitely looks like Kagura, with a different hair color). |
