| The ruler game sure was fun, but I do kinda feel disappointed that this isn't a direct sequel. I can live with it though, even if this seems to lack some of the first season's charm as a result. Also, am I the only one bothered by the fact that Hotaru was playing the ruler game with a set square? Wouldn't that technically be cheating? |
| I wonder why they opted to fill in season 1's timeline with additional content instead of carrying on with a sequel? I would've preferred the latter since the bond between the characters are strong and established instead of having to do a reset. Although their friendship seems to stay relatively static throughout season 1 and they become friends pretty quickly so the reset isn't too bad. I suppose they just want the characters to stay the same age and not grow up and see them embracing change and responsibilities, in order to avoid the confrontation of reality and reinforces the escapist and therapeutic bliss where everything is happy. Kind of messed up psychologically when you think about it, a delusional false sense of happiness aimed at the audience. |

| Someone said that repeat made no sense. But it's non non biyori, it is here just to relax, I don't really care it issequel, prequel or reboot, I just wanted to feel calm with this series. I was smiling entire episode. The ruler game was so funny. And of course Koma-chan x Hotaru <3 |

| There technically can't be a sequel in in-animation time as the manga repeats its setting. Time goes by but they don't grow up. |

| The return of Renge's "Nyanpasu" made me smile very easily. I'm glad to hear her say it once again! =3 Non Non Biyori might be a SoL anime, but the ruler battle had more intensity than a good amount of shounen battles in the likes of Naruto & Fairy Tail. Nicely done! =D The starry night scene with Komari & Hotaru was beautiful. However, Komari did the wierd thing of finding her bottle cap, now probably covered in dirt and germs......and put it back on her half-finished bottle without cleaning the cap whatsoever. >_< Apart from that, it was another great episode! =D |

| Seriously glad that Nii-chan got more screentime. While I don't and will not expect him to become regular I've always thought he needed to be more interacted with. Love how he doesn't need to talk to be an enjoyable character. |

| The ruler game actually looks fun. Oh man, Hotaru's journey through the rural countryside really reminds me of my childhood in rural Taiwan... the rural scenery between the two countries is so similar. Only thing they'd omit is the ridiculous amount of mosquitoes (especially if it's summer). As for the flashlight running out.. yikes. I've been camping on the mountains before without any sorts of light (it was supposed to be a fun activity, according to my camp counselors), and yeah, it can be very scary and dark (starlight alone doesn't do anything to light up the road) |

| How could that rule game be so entertaining? I really love how Non non Biyori is able to turn something so simple into something funny! Nii-chan always cracks me up XD Hotaru and Komari were adorable on the way back home (and we learn how Hotaru started to be obssesed with her senpai :P) Also, nyanpassu! | I'm not feeling the same enjoyment as I did the first season. Perhaps this is just the outlier episode of the season. Also, Renge's voice is addicting. I'd like to have her as an alarm clock. |

| Finally got around to watching this just a few minutes before the next episode went up. Oh well. I want to play that ruler game now... I've gotten lost a few times in my life of course, but every time that I remember I was able to easily trace back the route I had came. I wouldn't ever find myself in the situation that Hotaru and Komari found themselves in, though, as my torch is one of those linear induction ones - a little shake and its working again. |

| Another fun and great episode! Nyanpasu Rulez! Renge Rulez!! Watching them play Ruler Wars is so hilarious! The part wherein the Brother comes-in was awsome! even the BGM is cool! it's like they're having an intense close fight! "TsubameGaeshi!" that's a fate reference (assassin servant). 2nd part: Pechi is such a reliable dog and a bit aggressive to the Brother! at least Pechi was able to smell the scent that leads the way in order for Hotaru not to be in trouble for getting lost. The BGM on 19:00 - 20:55 sounds like Jersey Devil game BGM (PS1). I thought Hotaru's gonna be lost again but this time they almost got lost with Komari, because of that ordeal, i think this is what made Hotaru like Komari so much. 5/5. |

| For what I care, Non Non Biyori can repeat as many timeline/alternatives/gaps as it can and I would still enjoy it as much. |
| That ruler game was so intense and awesome, I wanna try it out. Dat teamwork man, props. This game was better than most of action anime out there. So that's how Hotarun fell for Komachi, so cute. Gotta love how courageous Komachi was there. In spite of being the more scared one, she properly acted like an upperclassman and I think, that was cool. The giddy feeling, I missed it. Non non biyori really is the best. |

| Never knew a ruler game could be so intense. lol I don't remember seeing or even hearing about Pechi in the 1st season. Was he there? So far, I'm liking this season. It might not be a continuation from the 1st season but it's still as cute and laidback as ever so I don't really see a problem. |
