Spike having the ability to come up with the idea of shooting the gun to push himself when he was so close to death.. Holy crap. First 3/4 episodes felt a bit slow, but I've enjoyed the last 3 episodes ^^ |

| You couldn't hold your breath in space, the outward pressure in the lungs would violently push all the air out into space. Good episode though, don't really like the english dub for a lot of characters. |

| I really thought we were dealing with a gay stereotype here by calling a dude a queen, but now that I read the comments, I realize VT is a girl...*dope* Anyways, that was a decent episode. I'm probably getting ahead of myself, but when are they going to have a more intriguing, overarching storyline? I know Vicious was back there, and the OP from the 1st episode... I like one-offs here and there, but almost every episode...I'm so impatient, I guess. |

| Another fun and light-hearted episode with yet another demonstration that the characters in this anime, are anything but boring and stereotyped. Narrative that has only one flaw, it is self-contained, the rest is pleasant and interesting. |

| Heavy Metal Queen was cool and it was a fun episode! Having to get out of that mine thing by using bombs to explode that bit to make an opening was cool! Spike nearly didn't make it! D: He finally found out her name too from her locket lol. Spike with a hangover and that cure was funny, and when he beat up those guys for making him drop that egg on his trousers! lol. |

If you look at the photo of her when she was younger (the one Spike finds in her watch), she's clearly female. She just took on a more masculine appearance as she got older. It's not uncommon for women to become more masculine after menopause due to hormone changes, and she deliberately chose to accentuate that by wearing masculine clothing. This could be for any number of reasons - to be taken more seriously as a trucker and not look like a soft target; to prevent guys from hitting on her; to disguise her identity (she obviously didn't want to be recognized as Victoria Terpsichore, one-half of the legendary bounty-hunting duo), etc. As for why the name Victoria is associated with transgender people, it could be because of the movie Victor/Victoria, in which Julie Andrews pretends to be a man in order to get work as an entertainer. I think its use as VT's real name is just a coincidence, though, and not indicative of her gender identity. |

| Well given the name "Heavy Metal Queen" and her weird voice, it wasn't hard to figure out that she's a woman. Those episodic stories are kinda boring though. |
| The moment VT appeared on screen and she talked seemed pretty obvious she was a women and people guessing her name with female names everyone around her knew she was a women. The comments claiming she is trans, or dressing as a guy to fit in is silly. Not all women want to wear dresses or have long hair. Her voice was slightly hoarse because she is older. |

| This one had some good moments, but I think it's one of the weaker episodes so far. The animals had some cute moments, which was nice. But Spike going outside without anything to help with the low pressure, and using a gun to propel himself, really broke my immersion. On a side note, I wonder if Victoria will reappear later in the show. |
