| another good one just like the last episode with the pink haired girl, and the "I am atomic" episode. the only arc I dont really feel special so far is the goddess challange with the trapped girl. no beautiful scene like this one. |

| Are we gonna learn what/how that stuff on Rose was this whole time? I'm assuming the cult did it to her somehow but idk kinda feels off that it wasn't addressed, we just had Shadow fix it. His sister waited there the entire time? lol that smile. |

| Beta's delayed reaction was pretty funny! Rose also really went through the ringer thanks to Mr Asshat. Parent getting brainwashed and being forced to defend yourself from your own royal guards! Thankfully Shadow gave her a power-up after flexing his piano skills. I'm worried that all of Cid's Claire escape speedruns are about to bite him in the butt though! |

| I see Claire hasn't given up on finding Cid despite the many times he evaded her. The piano is indeed something that can help greatly in keeping people off your back. Considering the length of the stairs the tunnels must be pretty deep underground. Alexia is something that always prefer the direct methods huh. So the root cause was Rose's father being poisoned by her ex fiancee huh. That goes to show just how deep the cult has gotten within her own homeland. Shadow though really picked the best time to recruit Rose though. Its nice that we were able to see what caused Rose to take her path as well as see her join shadow in the war against the cult. With her skills with the blade it would be a waste not too. |

| I was expecting this episode to focus more on the tournament arc and put the rose resolution off till the next few episodes, but instead, we got most of this episode focused on Rose and her backstory to these most recent events. The clash between Rose, Perv, and the other players is likely to be the end piece of this first season of Eminence in Shadow, while this episode served as part one of that end game that is coming a few episodes down the line. I enjoyed the piano aspects of this episode and the Shadow appearance and interactions with Rose. Anytime Shadow comes out in an episode it is instantly so satisfying and I love every scene he is in. Now that Rose has been given power we can only assume the havoc she will wreak against the Cult as well as anyone else involved. I am very curious about how the season will end for all of our main characters, and how it will all interconnect. It is very possible the tournament arc never properly finishes if the next episodes focus more on the 'operation' that is supposed to happen in the capital that last we heard from Alpha about. I cannot imagine they don't finish the tournament, not only because I want to see Mundane Mann beat everyone, especially Annerose and Iris, but also because it would be very odd to put it off till next season. We still have three episodes left, so I assume we will get a mix of those two main plot points as we go into the final section of season one. Alexia responded brutishly as per usual to her requests not being listened to, and we got to somewhat see how much she has grown in strength since the start of this season, even if just for a single moment. I am unsure of how strong Rose exactly has become, as Shadow just filled her up with his purple juice, so to speak, but looking forward to seeing more of her since the 'transformation' in this episode. Anyhow, I am rambling, so till the next episode, I can't wait. This is still the show I most look forward to every week. |

| It's actually nice to see a show getting this detailed of an adaptation from the LN. The mood created by the Moonlight Sonata performance was just as good as the one I'd imagined while reading it. Well, I guess it's to be expected since they are adapting just 2 volumes in 20 episodes. |

| Bruuuuh. Man. Fuck Perv Asshat. What a silly ass name. I knew that guy was sus. He pretty much framed Rose into committing attempted murder. Poor Rose. Was about to get married to this sick bastard. At least she's a runaway fugitive.....for a short while. Until the eminence in shadow granted her power and a piano performance of the moonlight sonata. Ahhh yes. A double win win. Rose is now a certified badass with new powers. Alexia had no chance of beating her ass. |
