| Trust me - A BIG 20 years fan of original manga. This shounen is an excellent classic: - Epic fights: Ryuumajin Baran vs Dai, Real Vearn vs Ryuumajin Dai, Hyperdemon Hadlar vs Dai... and many many more - Great romance: A pentagon love - Great characters, especially the villains... and Pop - the "real" main lol - Great pacing, many plot twists, the story get better and better through each arc |

| I know nothing about Dragon Quest though I did read about it a few years ago and I have to say, this was a good first episode. Really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to it. |

| A renowned work that gains a new animated version in a study that was once one of the best, but unfortunately today, Toei is synonymous with garbage. This anime frustrated me a lot, but at least the first version still exists. |

| It looks like i got to see a long ass kid series again that popular on its era, i believed. Its another remake from the others one that exist before. Hmm so far the story kinda fine to me, telling me the story of Dai with his adventurous to be a hero. The animation and art were just like the others anime at this century style, so its kinda become a refreshment for the remake one. Okay, its standard seemed get fulfilled. Well, i might still stick at this one. But, my interest still low knewing this as a long ass series. I might put this on my hold-on. Lol, whatever. So, lets see the next one. |

| Oh man, the nostalgia... This was da bomb in Latin America in the 90s. It looks as gorgeous as it was 30 years ago. I see they changed a lot of the scenes to better fit modern storytelling, though Also, they "corrected" Brass' color |

| I never played the Dragon Quest games, but I do liked the first episode so far. It gave me strong Dragon Ball/HunterxHunter vibes. There were quite a bit of CGI scenes that looked a bit rough in the beginning of the episode, but it it looked clean towards the end. I laugh when the princess called Dai tiny, so its got quite a bit of humor. I'm looking forward to what journey this series takes me. |

| Haven't played the games or read the manga or seen the old series but this was pretty nice. Has a very classic style to it and sounds like it'll be fun to watch. I'll stick around. |

Same as Dragon Ball, Yu Yu Hakusho, One Piece, Naruto, etc. If you think the story becomes sure the two first "arcs" (they last 2 or 3 chapters each, and they already adapted the first one in one episode) are more light hearted, but it gets more heavy really fast (by the end of the first volume). When people say "it's a kid show", I feel they're comparing it to pokemon and the like. If that's what you thought, you're very wrong. The CG monsters were gross, and the animation looked clunky, especially the fights. For what it is, the art’s good and reminiscent of the 90s era. Never saw the original or read the manga etc. Honestly, not sure why I’m watching a kids show, but I didn’t hate it. |
| Huh? somehow I don't remember any of the fight with the monsters and the fake hero and his group, guess this episode was mostly filler? Tho, to tell the truth, I remember very little of the first two volumes of the manga, as I thougth they were pretty poor in comparison to the rest of the serie. |

| IT'S HERE! FINALLY IT'S HERE! I can't believe that after two decades I'm finally watching a full adaptation of the manga. Oh man, I hope it really will the whole story and not cancelled midway. It'll take a while to reach the end point of the other anime. |

The last 3 or so were from a specific sequence of events and the first few as well. That's it as I recall, I'll have to pull the volumes off my shelf and go through them again. | Opening and Ending were pretty generic. Really enjoyed the first episode, hella HxH and One Piece vibes. Not a big dragon quest fan but ik enough to get the references. Really looking forward to seeing where this goes! Also; loved seeing the, very clearly old, designs from the original animated in a high quality and fresh new style! |

In chapter 2 in the manga there is part that show Dai kidnapping the woman from the fake heroes, and he take her trousers off and make a monster lick her foot to make her confess where she hide the Golden slime This supposed to happen in episode 1 but 2020 version cut this part Also, it is worth to mention I have watched the 1 hour preview that shows scenes from the first 6 episodes of 2020 version. (I can tell you where you can see it if you PM me) I can say that new version is not as perverted and violent as manga and original TV version. Later there is scene that show a guy (not going to say his name) touch a girl boobs by accident. 2020 shows this but from the back so you won't see him directly touching her boobs with his hand. So, you might see some few prevented scenes in new version but it won't be as obvious and clear as the manga As for violence. It is less violent than the manga and original TV version. You will barely see human blood but you will see bruises and also you will see demons blood (Demons have blue blood) |

| Yo I LOVED that. It reminds me of everything I loved about anime as a kid, except with a more modern coat of paint. I felt like I was watching Pokemon, Digimon, Rave Master, or OG Dragon Ball for the first time. It's generic and trope-y, but in all the right ways. I've been searching for something like this for so long and I'm excited to finally have found it. Also, the voice cast is perfect. I LOVE Brass's voice. I think the only thing I didn't care for were the CGI monsters, but that's easy enough to get over. |

| Just amazing. I love the visuals and story. I'm not a big DQ fan, but I know a little bit. The great thing about this show is that you don't even need to anything about DQ. Also the OP was pretty good too. I can't wait for more. |

| If you like the Dragon Quest Franchise you will like this show its great first episode its has lots of fan service for fans of the games. Really looking forward for more episodes. SQUARE please localize Dragon Quest X in the west |
