| Sooo we just gonna ignore Asta got stomped by a big ass diamond monster and hit a man so hard he hit mach 5.....but he human with no magic tho... Anyway best episode of the series but still pretty weak and they straight up bit off Naruto with the Zabuza back story. |
| As much as how much I enjoyed seeing Asta saving everyone from that guy, Studio Pierrot is doing a horrible job at animating this. What's up with the animation quality, Pierrot!?!? Forgodsake. Still 5/5 for badass Asta and Yuno smiling. :3 |

| The smoke mage's attitude really is care free though. Though the manner of his exit was hilarious. So Mars is a magic warrior that was enhanced huh. So Mars had that kind of training that explains his strength. Asta sure got there in the nick of time. Though it was funny seeing the bulls step up to shield Klaus and his team though. Mars proved to be this series first real good villain actually and the fight between him and Asta was pretty good. |

| holy shit, finally some great animation, except the CG smoke, but other than that this episode was so good. it's sad that just a handful of episodes will have this much budget and all the other ones will be just plain, but it's really worth waiting |

Sanrio Danshi looks better than Konbini Kareshi because the later had all of its episodes entirely outsourced to other mediocre studios. With studios like Pierrot, you should keep in mind not all of the episodes are animated in-house by them due to many reasons. Like in Black Clover's case, Pierrot has only animated 5 episodes out of 17. |

| This is probably second episode that is good and not hard to watch. The animation before doesn't compare to the one of this episode. But only 2-3 episodes with decent animation in 17 eps, it's gonna be hard. |

| I felt that Mars guy was defeated so easily by Asta considering he had strong presence and was able to overpower Yuno and Klaus. But anyway I'm loving this anime and I think it still needs a bit of touches there and there. I hope on this treasure hunt there will be a stronger opponent who can still give Asta a hard time. |

| This show is either growing on me or it's slowly getting better - especially in the quality of its art. "I'm the pebble that shatters diamonds." Like damn, not gonna lie but that was a pretty cool line, even if slightly cringey and the mangaka obviously wanted to put that in so bad. |

"Ok we can now move to other parts of the episode" I liked the episode, i especially liked how Klaus sees that Asta is strong and gets impressed by him and just stays there in awe. Noelle was kinda annoying in the episode:"im gonna protect you" LOL or "Stop just standing and whining there" to Klaus, like that wasnt what she was always doing LOL. Also i liked when Luck just sweeped those guys like it was nothing and Klaus is like "Oh its him" :D And when Klaus thinks that its all luck that Asta got nullifying powers and then looks at his muscles, "oh yeahh baby, its not luck" LOL I liked this quote a lot ASta:"See if you dont give up, you'll get there eventually" |

If you aren't aware, the show is heavily understaffed and the director has been pleading for help by asking animators on twitter to apply for the job for a few weeks now. His usual crew wasn't with him when the show started because most of them were already working on Fate/Apocrypha. They're starting to join the team but we won't be seeing the effects until the next few months. |

| Oh damn! This ep is pretty epic! Both the Golden Dawn and Black Bulls fighting against the Diamond mage is cool, but then Asta comes in and wrecks his ass up like a badass! In addition, Asta didn't scream as much as usual, and even if he did, it's just his battle cry, so not only is this ep got a nice good fight, but it's also less annoying to watch! I love how everyone simultaneously thought "He's so strong! When Asta could go 1v1 against the Diamond Mage! |
