| I cried probably about 3 times. But this episode was AMAZING and the new opening is much better than previous openings imo. It's nice that Gray is getting more attention, Natsu didn't play a huge part in this episode. |

| So much ship in the new OP. I hope there's a episode in the future where Juvia remembers Silver talking to her and understands that he's basically giving him her blessing. Nice to see Gray get something new, a bit disappointed how easy it was to transfer it but regardless, nice. He's been like the only one who hasn't really got any changes since the start of the show. |
| Damn I never thought this ep would make me cry, The New OP is good animation wise and that ending the birth of a Ice-Devil Slayer can't wait for the next episodes. |

| New Opening!! :D I liked the last one better, but that's what I said about the one before it and then the last one grew on me a lot, so I'm sure this one will too. ^_^ Now aside from the music in the new opening... NALU <3 GRUVIA <3 GALE <3 HNNGGGG Gray inherited Silvers Ice Devil Slayer magic? Sweeet! But if END is a Fire Demon...My mind is still stuck in the world of Pokémon where Fire Types are strong against Ice Types =P I liked when Silver was talking to Juvia. He told her to take care of Gray!! Silver approves of Gruvia!! T^T She beat Keyes! Yay!! But...I thought Wendy, Carla, and Doranbolt were going to do something about all the Faces? Do they know they don't have to now that Keyes is gone? OR is there going to be a twist or something? Or did I just miss something? xD Either way, great episode. =D And that shroom is still annoying xD He's obviously not going to help them. | That was actually.... a good episode. Compared to the other ones. 5/5 Though how does Juvia still get hit even though she's made out of water? And yay, getting new powers without training at all. |

Granted you could just say he's a hypocrite (though that just reeks of lazy writing to me), but he said he realized it as he fought Sting and Rogue, so he had no reason to go in with the mindset of toying with them, especially when Erza and Minerva are on their way to potentially stop Face. For a guy that calls himself a flawless tactician, I'd expect him to take more care to make sure his plans succeed. |
Mard Geer tortures Kyoka because she toyed with Erza instead of kill her (Kyoka justifies herself saying that she does that to get information from Erza, but Mard Geer doesn't give a fuck and tortures her likewise). But later when he fights against Sting and Rogue he realized that fighting with strong humans (from Mard Geer logic fight = toying) is actually fun. Also remember that Mard Geer is a very arrogant character, so I think that he didn't think that two humans could be an annoyance to his main plan. |

He even spells it out almost word for word. And while Marde is arrogant, he's also pragmatic. After Ezel, Franmalth, Seilah and Hell's Core were taken out he immediately activated Alegria to wipe all the fairies. When he found out Lucy (one human, who later caused Plutorigium to be cut in half and the curse of Alegria to be undone) was safe he immediately called for a manhunt. And when This is why the Twin Dragon fight disappointed me. Marde was presented as a character that, while arrogant, was capable of not screwing around like most villains and actually being able to step up and get things done, and then he shows up after being petrified and falls prey to the same tired villain arrogance "I'm just toying with you" schtick. Then again at least it didn't lead to the Twin Dragons beating him because he underestimated them. I guess I should be happy for that. |

I agree on what you say, though, to be honest, the confidence of Mard Geer against Sting and Rogue, though it was out of character to Mard Geer's personality (as you said, he is arrogant but pragmatic), at the end of the day their battle didn't end in a bad situation for Mard Geer |

| What an episode this was. Silver died, it didn't hurt as much as it did in the manga. I guess that's because this is the second time seeing it. With a closer look to things I really gotta enjoy Keith's/Keyes' character. I mean those close-ups on his face were gold. When he opens his mouth it's just satisfyingly scary. Besides that the contours on his face were well done too. We got a new OP and ED. The OP's shit, it spoils everything and I don't like the song. I like the ED though, summing up some characters and just giving off a happy vibe. Job well done, the song's nice too. |

| So Juvia finally beat that necromancer and Silver passed his powers on to Gray. Pretty cool episode actually, though the fight was not that great. |

| No comments about how Lucy and Juvia basically got molested? xD Almost thought I was watching Hentai for a minute there. Also no one questioning all the holes in Silver's backstory? So he was killing demons because he wanted revenge but then he helps them with their plan to rid the world of magic and enslaving everyone by killing the council, He saw Gray at the Grand Magic Games before all of this and didn't talk to him because his hands were "Dirty"? With what? Demons? wtf. So anyway instead of helping them at the end instead he fights them when clearly they're pressed for time and he knows the necromancer is using the zombie to activate all the Faces. Come on none of this junk makes sense... He clearly had free will the whole time since he learnt the Demon slayer ice make magic just to beat END and he was going around killing demons and accidently freezing dragons. He even said he was planning to go against them but for some reason didn't because he saw Gray at the Grand Magic Games... Silver is the worst character I've ever seen they didn't even bother with his story apparently they just wanted to make him look cool, give Gray something to keep up with the others and feels because his Dad died... Again. Also wtf isn't the Bad guy turns good thing a little over used already solely in this anime Bah. |

| Gotta agree with exLightning. Silver just didn't make a whole lot of sense so it was hard for me to work up any emotion at all. Good riddance. He's working to take down Tartaros but doesn't because his hands are dirty? Isn't that all the more reason for him to make up for past sins by fighting Tartaros? Instead of his son? Only redeeming thing about Silver was Juvia's reaction to being called Gray's woman. |

| Silver, what a great father he was. That ending was very touching, this was probably the best episode in this arc. Gray is now even stronger with a new "power up" that he received from Silver. |

| WOOOOOW New Opening and that came as a surprise! the song! omg where is my phone, i have a new ringtone!! The animation, it was incredible! fuck im hyped about this following! Igneel might be back! ' Gotta say the ED, that was beautiful.. And this episode as well.. Man it was beautiful, and painful, thought Juvia was a goner..but she defeated keys, and set free grays father, Sounded as he boted for Gruvia as well xD and she stopped the face from being activated. Gray got his fathers power and strength as a Ice Devil Slayer! Now it up to gajeel and Natsu to stop the other two! curious how Juvia is doing .. :/ but also curious about master who went back to the guild, and not i think about it WHAT did happen to Natsu's scarf lol |

| Phenomenal episode, it's been a while since Fairy Tail has got me teary eyed. Must be Juvia working her water magic on my eyes. Loving the new OP, probably my favorite one from this season yet. It's got me so hyped for the rest of this arc. The new ED is also really nice, a melancholic feeling as if to say "We're almost at the end", considering these are effectively the final OP/ED for this main season. |
