| My parents sometimes joined me and my younger brother while watching Dragon Ball Z. They always made fun of it and said it's incredibly dumb and stupid. Since then I've been watching anime on my PC only and never bothered to show them any of it. I've watched several anime series with my brother. | I didn't show anything to my mother, while I showed my sister: Clannad/Clannad AS, even though I was the only one truly moved by it. She liked it, and cried a little bit when Tomoya and his dad made peace. Although she said that she cried just because I did it so she succumbed to the same feeling. By the way that was an awkward moment. -Death Note, which she really liked. I think showing Death Note to newbies is almost always a safe bet. -Madoka Magica. She quite liked it, but she said that she was a little bit disappointed by the characters and how she liked them more at the beginning, especially Homura. She didn't like the suddenly change of heart of both her and Sakura. She never liked Madoka and she though that Sayaka was too obnoxious. -Another. Nothing much to say, she quite enjoyed without having too much complaints. -Toradora. We're still watching it, but she's liking it so far. -Chuunibyou. Watched the first episode just Friday, so it's early. She just said she was expecting something else. -Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki. She found it "cute" -Welcome to the N.H.K. Indifferent. |

| I've watched and enjoyed a few things with my mom. The first I have to mention were Spice & Wolf and Sennen Joyuu. Knowing my mom, I wasn't really surprised whe enjoyed those... what did surprise me is that we watched and both really enjoyed Berserk movies. |

| My whole family actually loves Wolf Children but then it's a family movie so I guess that doesn't really count I think. On the other hand my uncle watched typical older shows such as Slam Dunk, Yu Yu Hakusho and Rurouni Kenshin when they aired in tv and now marathoning them online as tv networks don't really show all episodes at the time. |

| I was able to get my mom to watch a number of my favourite series. Such as remembering Tokyo Magnitude 8.0's main events crystal clear as she was very emotional after it, being mesmerized by Chihayafuru to the point that she slept around 2-3 hours later to finish the anime. I have to say that I had this strange enjoyment seeing my mom crying at the things I've cried to and laughing to the same things too. The feeling to be able to share something enjoyable and seeing it with my own eyes just felt great. Sort of this feeling that we're not all that different!
