Something seemed really off in this episode... like... really off.

Pretty ridiculous about how Kirito was saved by that tiny heart monitor device thingy. The animation this episode seemed kind of weird, everything just feels weird when Shinon meets everyone.

Was a bit confusing when that one b*tch girl had the gun, then Shinon freaken scared them by shooting it. Now if it was a real gun, hell yeah they would be scared, but a bb? Really?

But again, I could be asking too much.

Need the drama and the exaggerated reactions (like how Kirito just sat there like he was dying, until Asada pointed out he wasn't).

Lmao people say GGO is better than SAO/ALO? At the very least I liked Kirito in SAO/ALO, here Kirito is just staring at dem asses acting like a playboy 'I don't hit women'. I pretty much couldn't bear the whole thing aside from a few scenes, and those were only good because of the soundtracks.

That villain.. my freakin God would've been better to keep his real identity a mystery, he was (they were) much more scarier than he is now, lmao "Asada-sannnnnn" x 321. He should have injected that shit much earlier lol. He could have also raped "Asada-sannnnnn" when she was still in game, too bad eh, medical student.

Edit: One of the things I dislike about GGO is, almost the whole time, they are in that BoB tournament, and that tournament is.. well.. boring.

The syringe landed in the PRECISE location of that thing....

MY FUCKING ASS!!!

Here's our massive HAX moment for this season folks, once again our MC is literally indestructible and has the best luck in the fucking world.

A fucking comet could be headed to earth and all humans could be wiped out, but you can sure as hell bet Kirito would walk away without a fucking scratch.

I know this wasn't the main thing about this episode, but GODDAMN, it's so fucking ridiculous, this show continues to do these things and just expect everyone to gloss over it.

The rest of the episode was fine, and at the very least it looks like Shinon's character development is something this show finally DID get right.

No OP. He got shot, but got saved by that devise. She made that guy unconscious in the end.

It seems like Sinon took care of the bully problem and is still trying to overcome her fear. The criminal's are caught, and how they got there. Feeling complex because of superiority of older brother? About the worlds being true or not.

So the battle against that guy continues? Girls are introduced, and her past faced by meeting the bank lady who said she was saved.

Two more arcs announced with OP by Haruka Tomatsu, ED by LiSA.

About the brother, the older brother was in SAO and when he came back he told his little brother that he was a feared killer and everyone respected him. The younger bro was filled with admiration and when he got ( cheated ) in GGO by making is char full AGI instead of STR/VIT he lost his purpose because for him GGO was reality and so with his older brother they made DEATH GUN.

The fight the other guy part of your comment not sure what you mean by it but that card was from the older brother (or XaXa) telling Kirito that this was not over yet that kirito does not have the power to end it and that the show is still on.

I tend to see your posts all over the animes I watch to be honest and this is the first time I went to your profile and saw the reason behind your post. I will try to help out as much as I can whenever I see on of your posts.

Actually in the Light Novel it was explained and had a good reason. The anime just made it seem like plot armor lol.

Kirito rescues Asada. Shinkawa injects him, but good thing the electrodes in Kirito's chest saves him from death. Then Asada smashes Shinkawa's head by a radio.

I'm glad she shows herself to the bullies how she's not affected to the gun anymore, although at first she's shocked.

Kirito and friends help Asada to heal herself by searching for a girl who was saved by her during the hostage crime scene. That's a nice drawing from a little child.

I hope someday, Asada will fully forgive herself and overcome about her terrible past.

This episode pretty much shits on any sort of realistic vibe Kirito and Asuna's relationship/whatever had. He refers to her as a friend. A FRIEND. They even got fucking married and adopted a kid a while back... This is just retarded to be honest. If you call your supposedly girlfriend/wife/partner a friend in front of others, you're simply an asshole. That's who you are Kirito, an asshole. Good job!

Funny how Asuna didn't even react in that scene. Most likely because if she had, it would have been very uncomfortable for Kirito. We can't have our white knight experience an awkward situation at the end of the arc now can we. We must make sure the harem circus keeps spinning!!!!! PRIORITIES!!!!

Sinon wants to go back and met the guy who just a second ago tried to kill and rape her, in that order. So realistic...

Kirito survives because a nurse forgets to remove a plastic piece attached to his chest... A fucking needle couldn't pierce through that thin layer of plastic... Fuck you and your plot armor.

Why did Kirito go to Sinon's place in the first place? She specifically told him NOT TO. It doesn't make any sense other than to further show us how "awesome" Kirito is when he saves the damsel in distress (which at this point have happened just about 10 trillion times)... Fun!

Bullies actually tried pulling the trigger. Bitch actually tried to kill Sinon at that point. Funny how Sinon afterwards just hands over the weapon as if it never had happened. And really, a bucket with a can just happened to be there? Plot convenience at its best. Funny how no one noticed that the bully pulled a gun. Japan who is so restrictive with its guns, and no one notices that a teenage girl draws a weapon in the middle of the day at a crowded place. Sure. LOL.

The two brothers really have no reason to kill that Zexzen guy whatever his name was. They were essentially angry that he gave them a tip in the game that didn't stay true. What the fuck you blind sheep don't you do any research on your own? And you get so pissed off that you actually want to kill the guy for it? This seems so realistic doesn't it.

Aaaaaaand the main villain is a rapist. Haven't seen that one before now have we. Does the writer of this shit have a thing for rape or something like that? Or is he just trying his hardest to create a dislikeable villain so Kirito appears as even more of a saint than ever. Geez. SO ORIGINAL!=!=!

In all honesty this arc was probably one of the worst I have ever seen. Calling it shit would be an understatement.

Nice conclusion to the arc, wouldn't mind if the anime ends here actually. Oh well, SAO was way better than ALO, and my opinion on the season I anime itself actually deproved after watching ALO. Here's hoping season 2 will not be the same, and the next arc will actually be good as well.

Oh ya, I guess Asuna has been demoted to the friendzone after Shinon is introduced to the harem. Welcome, welcome.

Well that wrap things up.
The only thing that surprises me is duration for this arc.
I initially thought this was suppose to be fast paced. Who knew they'd drag on so much.
They had the budget anyway so why not. Also it's still not a bad adaption from the LN considering many other failures.
The syringe landing on that spot was a bit over the top lol. There just had to be one electrode left there. XD
It's a nice way to end the arc.. though I wasn't particularly touched hehe.

Wow I actually laughed when it was revealed that the syringe hit the electrode. That's just ridiculous. And just what was going on with Kirito acting like he was dying even though he didn't actually get injected with anything? It was good to see Sinon be the one to take out Kyouji and to see her show her growth against the bullies by standing up against them. I still think stopping Kyouji by herself would have made a stronger statement though.

The motives of the Shinkawa brothers were just pathetic. For people who have shown ability to do research and gather information (on their victims), why would they just listen to and base everything off of what one player says? Stupid, but at least it fits their profile of being sad and pathetic idiots. It would have been nice to see a more noteworthy motive though.

As expected, he ends up taking her to join the harem hangout at the cafe and meet with the others. Interesting how Kirito doesn't mention that Asuna is his girlfriend.

I really liked how they made Sinon meet one of the survivors from the post office incident. The experiences pertaining to her inner struggle culminate into that scene where she finds the resolution that she had been looking for. To be wrought with guilt over taking a life for years and having said guilt affect her self-esteem, and then to finally understand and see in front of her eyes the life that she enabled to continue on living which in turn allowed another to be granted life, through them she will finally have the will to save herself.

Overall, the arc was decent enough. The action was good, though there wasn't much to the actual plot itself as the arc mainly focused on the characters. The characters could have shown more/better development though. I feel that much of the time that was spent repeating and brooding over their struggles could have been used to show more incremental progression in their mentalities. While we see that Sinon's struggle has consequences/symptoms that affect her life in some aspect, Kirito's struggle doesn't really seem to have a drastic effect on any of his actions to any notable degree. Though, it does cause him to suffer internally and it was good to see that he did have a weakness to balance his OP skills. It was also good to see how Kirito and Sinon both had the same struggles, but it would have been nice to see Sinon help Kirito as much as he helped her.

I liked how Death Gun was part of Laughing Coffin and was an SAO survivor like Kirito. Combined with the mystery that surrounded him, he was a mildly interesting character until his real life identity was revealed, at which point he became insufferable and the scene itself was more cringe-worthy than suspenseful.

The arc finishes at a 7/10 for me. I should get around to reading the LN's sometime since I hear how much these adaptations aren't really doing them much justice.

Wow, really?? Like really, man??
If you are going to do something like, Kirito getting saved by a fucking electrode, then, don't even do it in the first place since that's just fucking ridiculous, man. I mean, that's just too convenient......even for me.
And of course, those crazy ass bitches are back. Did they just tried to kill Sinon?? What the fuck. And did Sinon just returned the gun to her?? What the fuck.
Also, why is there a bucket with a can on top ready for Sinon?? Dude =_=
Anyway, see, she saved a pregnant lady. She did a good thing. She saved a future MILF, man. Now, that's something to be proud of. That is a one cute drawing.
Well, let's see the next arc.

I just want Sinon to know that Kirito's got Asuna already so she can back the hell off. I never saw this as a harem show nor I think I ever will even though I'm a harem fan. Ecchi and harem? best combination ever. But not this show. I want an O to the T to the fucking P dammit!

Such a conveniently placed can for Shinon to fire the pellet at...

And how the bullies meekly let Shinon take what they thought was a real gun, fire it, and give it back...

But the rest of it was fairly decent at least. The ending was good.

In terms of action, the Gun gale online arc was decent at that, hell I feel it trumps the entire first season but I found

-sinons character arc to be really contradictory and stupid. How does a girl get over her phobia with guns (not to mention being talented) through playing GGO and then revert back when entering back into the real world?

-Kirito not remembering about death gun even though he didn't want to know him back when he met him in sword art online is a obvious plot hole.

I haven't seen the show, but I feel this is a little of what CSI Miami is like, lol. It feels like a silly investigation, crime-solving plot using anime as a medium. Kirito seems to even have his own intelligence organization with his resources and his head. .

As I progress through each episode, SAO II gets more and more silly. . though I really loved the (entire) first season, so that will unconditionally carry through to subsequent seasons. . . that and also Asuna.
