If you look at the recommendations, you will notice that Just Because has 15 recommendations and is therefore the first recomandation. Also to the discussion more generally, how are people figuring out a 'studio they don't know'? I feel it's really hard to find a studio I haven't watched (1) thing from. Is there a list of studios? What are smaller studios of interest? Or a way to find older studios that don't do much anymore? |

| @nerfsunny You can choose between Mononoke Hime or Kaguya-hime no Monogatari for movies that are over 120 minutes in length. I found both of them in your PTW. Both of these movies are awesome. @Milength The banners can be found in this post. There are over a hundred banners to choose from. After you complete the challenge, simply choose a banner with the word "Completed" written on it that you can copy and place into your profile or signature. :) |

| @tylex200 I don't think it qualifies. For that category you have to have at least one kid younger than 12 and I don't think either of the MCs are. Iirc, middle schoolers are 13-15. Actually on that note, 3 gatsu, Hunter x Hunter, and a lot of WMT shows should qualify. Hanada Shounen-shi. Made in Abyss. Anyone know others? |

And comedy of all things, which is not my favourite genre (to say the least). But I have the responsibility and I'll try to give you something you can enjoy. My first rec will be Genshiken, which is your typical "nerds being nerds" SoL/Comedy show, but from 2004. The anime has a lot of things that would be considered tropes and cliches, but they weren't that cliched back then. As for the contents of the anime, I'd say it's not bad at all. Quite entertaining and it doesn't overuse fanservice or extreme bashing of some characters, which is nice. The second rec will be Magic Kaito 1412. Magic Kaito is a Detective Conan spin-off in which we have a magician that steals things just for the thrill of it and then turns them back. It reminded me of Lupin III, so you can know what to expect from it in both comedy and atmosphere. The third and final recommendation is Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya, which is yet another spin-off, this time a Fate spin-off. The series is based on a manga based on a single scene from the official Fate Stay/Night fandisc: Fate Hollow/Ataraxia. It's a magical girl show with a lot of Fate references and a lot of yuri fanservice (for some reason it's not tagged as shoujo-ai, though I don't know it). When I say it has a lot of fanservice, it means that it has A LOT. After first season ends, the infamous 2 part second season starts, especially the second part, but the third one picks up the rhythm again and the story develops further with more original characters and its original take on the Fate world. The final movie aired last year, so you can expect it to be subbed soon (if not now), just in case you're interested. I hope you enjoy at least one of them.
