I'm still savoring the utter irony that is Lay is responsible for creating Misa's spirit form.  Boy falls in love with the girl that is the spiritual reincarnation of the legend that he went back and rewrote time to create to save his former enemy because he trusted him more than his own people.  Like Whoa.  That's a knot.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Get back in your box, Stark simply gives an objective opinion to start threads. Your true nature is your comment 'you are just making low rated anime funny' which just shows how displeasingly ignorant of the show you are. I'd be suprised if you ever watched as Stark mentions how awkard the viloence is based on class and I feel him there, was nasty to feel but it helps propel story and characters. You however declared this a low rated anime without realising how awesome the story and characters are and at no point was ops comments funny. I could only assume you have some kind of mental health problems and thats okay, I have them too. but for this troll I bite my thumb at you.

The way how the things turned and mix blood are being treated by royals in such a way that almost reminded me of 86 or maybe it is even more worse then that.

Edges also intrigued me a little bit in this ep, looks cool in one way or the other... To tell truth his spear is what I am more interested in right now, whenever he threw it or holds it down, it creates a hole like it has no concept of space and distance and reach whoever he wants to hit, liked to see more of it.

At last Today's ep truly is one of the best ep so far, especially after Anos laughing, never thought he can even ever laugh like that and that made him look super cool in my view and right after that his quote also had made more impact in the ep, if that wasn't enough he even cutted the royals in 888 pieces. So overall it's 5/5 for me, though my actual rating would be 100 if it was allowed, why? Because of his laugh, hahaha...

I did not expect to see Emilia but I’m glad the author didn’t abandon her. Great to see Anos parents. Emilia totally looks different now. Her life has totally changed. It’s crazy to think that she was a teacher at the academy and now she was getting beaten to a pulp by her own students. I kinda felt bad for her. I hope she and Anos make amends

@ValarPrime92, thank you soo much for the explaination. That explains it alot and do you think the series is skipping alot of content. I am not a LN/manga read but feels like it.

Yes, they are skipping a lot of content from the LNs. Some of the skipped content is heartwarming, fluffy, funny moments where Anos's team just chills and socializes with one another - would really have liked to see it adapted. On the other hand, they also skipped a lot of the more convoluted, info-heavy parts of the LN (yes, it's even more info-heavy and explanation-heavy than the actual anime) - which is good because the story would really have been dragged out a lot.

I can't say for certain what the production team is thinking, but I'm guessing that they're trying their best to remain faithful to the lore of the LN whilst trying to make a good anime for anime-only watchers to follow. Not an easy job at all. Also, they also want to finish adapting a certain quota of Light Novel Volumes by the time this season ends. For example, Season 1 adapted the first 3 volumes: they skipped a lot of content also, but they needed to finish with Vol 3 (Anos & Lay vs Jerga) because it made the most sense from a storytelling perspective, and there's only 13 episodes to cram 3 volumes worth of content into it. It's the same for Season 2: they have only 2 sets of 12-13 episodes each to cram 5-6 Volumes worth of content into: it's inevitable that for the sake of 'not wasting time', they need to cut out a lot of content.

For Season 2 so far, they are adapting Volumes 4 Part One and Part Two (effectively 2 Volumes), which is the whole Misa is Avos story arc. It's unknown this Season will end at which Volume exactly, but it will most likely be Vol 7 or 8. Most of the fandom are leaning towards Vol 8, because of how climactic and awesome the final battle is in that Volume. (Trust me, it puts every Anos Flex we've ever seen so far to absolute shame). Ending at Vol 8 will make the most sense because, you wanna end the season with a real epic banger. Unfortunately, in order to get there, you have to cut lots of content out and cram the rest into your limited number of episodes.

Judging from EP 5 I think they will not gonna rush much now, so if that's really happen then volume 4 part 2 should be finished till ep 10 or 11 and after that I think they can adapt prologue of volume 5 and little more and continue the rest in season 2 part 2 or else they might show what they skipped in the first ep.

Good episode.Gusta and Izabella are truly among the best characters in the series.Their selflessness, desire to help others are truly praiseworthy.Emilia is back and she realised how bad she was previously after seeing the torture the Royals gave her and others.Good that she saved Isabella.

Really enjoyed how Anos destroyed those Royals.

And finally Anos and his friends are going for the counterattack.Eager to see where it goes.

I definitely wasn't expecting Dark Misa to be the half-fake Avos Dilhevia and the Child of God spread from Lay himself, but that doesn't mean that Anos has lost the battle to defeat him entirely. However, this is the Spirits' Trial, and while Enyunien still is in control, Anos's subordinates from 2000 years ago that have already submitted their allegiance to Dark Misa presents a problem.

Not even Anos's parents are safe from this, and the trip back home to ridicule the Royals manipulated under Avos's spell and remain in their house as a safeguard. That said, the Magic Sword of Destruction, which does not exist in any other lore, it's filling the blanks of what was done and not touched upon. Emilia wasn't spared by Anos episodes prior as a Royal, but as a hybrid, she still laments, but Anos always gave her a choice to turn back into a Royal or not.

The town of Delsgade returned untouched after 2000 years, and Anos is prepared for what may come in this dangerous expedition.

This is probably the best episode so far being cohesive of what we've learnt so far.

That's because Avos has more authority over them and can overwrite control anytime, plus that complicated spirit stuff about legends and shit. Once Anos deals with her they will be free for sure.

I understand why, in universe, that's the explanation given, but the author could've come up with at least a dozen other reasons to take these two figures out of commission without stooping to flip-flopping them about.

Well, Emilia now learns how wrong she was back in season 1 as it was her turn to get hunted and then saved by the exact Hybrid that she was going to hurt before.

Anos was so proud of his Dad, LOL

___ ___ ___

And it looks like there's still ppls (mostly Hybrids) that isn't brainwashed. It looks like only the Royals and Pure-bloods are being brainwashed huh... well, most Royals are already crazy since we've seen that back in season 1, as the reason why Emilia was turned into Hybrid by Anos.

Now they're going to head straight into the castle by way of a portal, lol.

Too bad Anos and gang doesn't have the time to go around and save the other Hybrids... I am pretty sure half of them in the city are now dead.

Unless Anos somehow at the end gets a new spell that can revive "sources"... I am pretty sure those Hybrids aren't coming back.

More like "Black Rock Shooter" hehe

Also, Emilia didn't really see the "light" (more like she just got a taste of what she was doing)

She more or less still wants to return back to Royalty, but she also realized what she did was wrong, however still can't decide whether to join the Royalty or Hybrid if she ever gets turned back. Which is why she couldn't answer Anos at the end.

She's pretty much in the middle right now, she knows what she did was wrong, but she still wants to be above the Hybrids.

from last episode, Misa's spirit showing her true colors, being the fake demon king, Avos, and how she wants a world governed by royalty ... but before that, she must beat Anos

Anos giving a speech on how the riddle in the battle of wits was easy, not that i understand or care about it...
they all attacked him, so he disappeared, while saying the true demon king would come back soon

they will have to defeat Avos but not make Misa suffer from it, nothing difficult for Anos lols
the tree tried to stop them, but Anos power is too violent for the tree's rules lols

there's some random idiot trying to stop Anos, but the old guy comes and takes his place in the battle

they found Leena and the little fairies decided to let them outside, and she will come with them to see someone from the past

after they teleported to the gate, some guards went away, while Anos was invisible, like they wanted to let him go in, and it seems some of them are not under control

in the city, many high nobles are killing low blood people by taking their mana, how disgusting these guys are lmao
his parents are kinda worried about him

lmfao, that bad woman that Anos beat in season 1 is now a low blood so she is also being chased, serves her right ... we even had flashbacks on how she was treating Anos's fan club girls for not being highblood
Anos parents saved her, that was a bad move, but thankfully Anos arrived just in time to beat them
lmao, not cutting them into 8 pieces, but into 888, it looked like fireworks

lol Anos father is jealous of how many girls he has in his harem
Emilia wanted to turn back into highblood, but after living as a lowblood for a while, she saw that she probably wouldn't be happy mistreating people like she did before

Anos is using his advantages, Avos can only use stuff from legends, but things like the school's underground place, or some of Anos weapons, are not known by anyone, so there's no legends about them

anyway, Anos and his team will head to the school underground, while the fan girls will stay in the house
wow, Zestia's are all living in a big city lol anos recreated a city from the past
to end the episode, they will teleport directly to the enemy territory, and will probably get attacked right away, not that i'm worried, Anos will just beat them lol
favorite "new girls" from fall <3 (lol i only watched these) ... click sig for older seasons
