| I've been trying to gather my thoughts on FFXV for a while but the ending royally fucked me up and I still can't concentrate. It's a great game aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh It deserved to be a lot longer though. If the second half wasn't as rushed it would have been fantastic (among a lot of other things). I think the extra hit of showing just made it even harder. So yeah congrats on beating one of the biggest mixed bags of a game ive ever played, the game has so many problems but man when the stars align and everything works its really a special experience thanks to the chocobro's journey. Ardyn was also a big reason i think the game salvages itself and sort of makes up for a chunk of narrative shortcomings for me, he was both entertaining and genuinely really threatening by games end, plus I just like how they handled his motivations, they tell the more sympathetic side of him through facial expressions and implications rather than shoving some sob story in your face even though he is a tragic character. They dont try to underlay just how heinous his actions are just cause he was genuinely screwed over. Not because of technical difficulties but because I don't want to go back to events prior to the ending. After finishing the game I just stared at the post-game title screen and listened to the music for five minutes straight, letting what had transpired in chapter 14 soak in (or at least, tried to). One thing while we're on the subject of shoving things in your face, FFXV was remarkably subtle (ignoring some faults that can be swept under the rug) for a globetrotting JRPG with a high budget. Maybe it's the legacy of being a multi-media franchise with a movie and an anime series, but there was not a whole lot of exposition in this game. You're dropped into the adventure and from there on you pick up things as you go. It progresses very naturally, and that's a breath of fresh air in this industry. Agreed :thinkingemoji: The thing that makes XV work so well is the little things, the big moments of chapter 14 justify the whole game but alot of my fondest memories are extremely small things, one off banter amongst the case, wandering off on the world on chocobo just exploring, a random ass goofy photo prompto took, and just the small interactions you see amongst the chocobros. The smallest details go a long way to make the game extremely impactful by the time you reach the end. Hell even the end went just that little bit extra, I absolutely adore the way they reveal what the logo was and the title screen change which kind of destroys me whenever i booted the game up after beating it. I think the tonal shift is kind of under appreciated about the game cause the 2nd half gets pretty messy at points, the goofy ass moments in the first half really take on a whole different feeling when you reflect on them after journeys end creating a far more bittersweet feeling. Despite the games short length i was nostalgic looking through prompto's pictures at the final section of the game and I think that is the truest sign of how successful XV was at making these characters work, its a shame the games have the flaws it does but this alongside a game call nier are two really flawed games that just have so many strong notes it cancels out the frustrations. One little small bit i doubt many people saw nor really care about that I at least really appreciate is the optional staff roll after beating the game, its still just credits but it honestly kind of hit me emotionally going through it both cause you notice that the visuals are the entire journey noctis and crew go on even if you dont see them in the credits that and the song used in this credits should of been used instead of apocalypse noctis after the campfire scene in the regular credits. |

| Hmm. So there are twelve Dress Up Keys. Although there's the whole Grand Princesses being able to use all 12, that's interesting since it means this setting has the potential for 12 co-existing Precure. It won't happen, but it's an interesting thought. Glad to know what the current objective is now. The whole "save the kingdom" goal seemed pretty detached from the girls' daily lives until Kanata told them how they would approach doing that. This usurper queen gives me similar vibes to the main antagonist in the first Sailor Moon. |

| Somehow watched the first 3 episodes of Mushishi's second season's second cour instead of the first 3 of the first cour. Glad I caught that and went to watch them as those episodes were pretty great. Mushishi always ends up being slightly better when the mushi aren't being parasitic assholes. Especially the first 2 episodes were they barely do anything bad. |

Think only real one I disliked was episode 5 or 6 of season 2 cour 2 with the mother that made a robe for her kid, that one was pretty meh, but the rest is all more or less on the same level of good. |

| Welp the new trailer for the spiderman was even worse than the first one, it spoiled pretty much the entire movie and just made the film look kind of amateurish. It really just looks like an afterthought of a movie to tie into avengers. Really relieved the spiderman ps4 game has nothing to do with it other than the same suit design. The brief details we hear about that game's story sound significantly more interesting than homecoming since its dealing with a grown up experience peter parker with a family. |

| ok what the hell that extra puzzle/platforming dungeon in FFXV wasnt even bad, A couple sections were a bit clunky and maybe a bit too long(alot of fake stops) but it was overall a really cool genre shift from the rest of the game and a few parts genuinly surprised me. |
