| I don't mind a 20 min fanservice episode once in a while, but considering this anime is only a 1 cour season and that theres no second season in sight, its a waste for the storyline. |

| This anime does SOL so well. And by the way, I think the rest of the anime will be calm. I think Urobuchi wants to do a different anime that he's done before - if he's established himself with horror and thriller than I'm sure he wants to go out of the perimeters. Besides, he's not even the one doing most of the script work, though he did plan out the plot (series composition I believe). He wanted to do a "healing" anime if I recall correctly. |

And yeah, Urobuchi has only written the script for first episode. I'm not saying that I will expect typical Urobutchering, but I was just wondering if the original concept was only Murata as you said, and not both Murata and Urobuchi. Plus, Urobuchi is in charge of series composition, which means that he has a say as to how this anime will flow and what is the content of each episode (unless I'm wrong...idk I did a little research on the job of series composition and that's what I concluded). So saying that just because it's not Urobuchi's idea isn't a valid argument that it won't be a typical Urobuchi plot. A more valid argument would be what itsverop said, "He wanted to do a "healing" anime if I recall correctly" |

| I guess I'll concede by saying it was a nice way of demonstrating that the people on Gargantia are pretty normal anime-peoples, and the end and the constant desire to find employment by Ledo is a sign of attempt at assimilation... Definitely bolstering the assertion that the show is about character development of Ledo in particular as he attempts to transform himself and adapt to his new surroundings, one that is starkly different from his native realm. |

That one scene with Amy teaching him was too cute <3 Speaking of Amy. Her ass is perfect. Her ass IS perfect. This is so important, I had to say it twice. Also, they found out about a skill of Chamber he didn't know he had. lol About those gliders, I wanted one ever since I saw them in the ending <3 (I'd also love a Dhingi from Moretsu Pirates though) |

| And thus begins Ledo's harem life. This series epitomizes simple and beautiful. I was hoping that there's more of a central plot driving everything, but so far it looks like it really will just be Ledo adjusting to a peaceful life on earth. Even so, this series still manages to be great. The little touches here and there makes it incredibly watchable and I'm looking forward to more. |

| I see some people are complaining, I'm not sure what you were expecting this is not supposed to be all action. One of the best "beach" episodes I have seen it wasn't ridiculous amounts of fanservice and it makes sense that after working in the heat all the time they want to take a break. It was also hilarious when Ledo was chased by.......I don't even want to say it. |

I guess when Sh*t hits the fan, it'll make the contrast with the tranquil way of life on Gargantia more pronounced. Loved seeing the most advanced and powerful piece of technology on the planet being reduced to a meat grill. "Why is this necessary?" | One of those episodes that had many moments with a hand over one eye and an expression half way between a grimace and a smirk. Still, at least there's a wide selection of boob sizes present to suit everyone's needs. Also serious query, but when Amy was holding onto that rope while her plane boat thing was going around that tower, that would have fucking hurt due to the tension in the rope. Amy's stronger then she looks. |
