It's called empathy. She was feeling for Nana. Very touching episode. I agree with the poster who said that the characters were so flushed out that they seem like real people. It really lets one identify with their emotions. My only question/complaint is: There's 2 bands and they only have 1 song between the 2 of them? Otherwise, awesome episode! |

| 1. Hachi x nana interaction was beautiful. Man tears. 2. Very moving in the concert. Tissues were needed 3. if u think shouji (someone u'd never expect to cheat) is bad, just think about how ren is. he's practically a womanizer. 10/10 |

| Nice to see black Nana open up. Anyway a different episode from last ones. No comedy but loads of drama, but it was important and needed for story. The song tells no need to cry and they both cry ;o What next? |

| Wow this was an intense episode, loved it! I want Ren to notice Nana and for them to live happily ever after. I have the feeling though it's not going to happen....otherwise the anime would not be 47 episodes long XD |

| What a feel-good series. The pure emotions that run through, to bounce among goofiness to slice of life to sympathy / romance in a single episode - it really combines genres well. Plus, the vivacious and realistic concert experiences, coupled with the extreme contrasts of life pitted... this makes the series memorable. And again, still one of the best outro songs of all time. |

| I'm so invested in this story i forget the characters are not real. I have been waiting for Nana and Hachi to have a little bonding moment. And the concert scene almost made me cry, it had me in the whole time. I love this anime. |

| Some great character interactions this episode, loved how Nana and Hachiko talked about their personal life, they have become quite close as friends for people who originally met on a train Quite the emotional end there in a good way, also did Ren cry there meaning he noticed Nana right? Oh boy can't wait for their reunion |

| The way the episode build-up with those fun and heartwarming moments just to finish perfectly with such heartbreaking scene, I'm almost teared up until I got myself thinking "Why am I getting emotional over this? That Yazawa!" but also the rest of the staff and the actresses' perfomances, everything is splendid. |

| I once thought that all the drama in life happened in youth. I thought that all the important decisions were made in your teens and twenties. This show resonates with me. Perhaps it is where I am in my life, a period of transition, a time of grief, walking into an unknown future. Maybe this particular author just speaks to me of our shared experiences, shared fears, shared hopes. I'm glad Nana came into my life right now. |
