Oh, wow. In this anime so far, sometimes I forget that the characters are animated and not actual people. They just seem so fleshed out that I can really relate to them.

The ending of this episode is the first time I've ever actually cried during an anime. They clearly did something right with making me care about how the various characters were feeling the moment Ren took the stage. It was just.. wow. I even let the credits run all the way to the end instead of jumping to the next episode, because that song just fit the moment so well it was eerie.. and even though Ren is a guitarist, I kept imagining that he wrote the lyrics to the song and was singing it to Osaki Nana..

More greatness, the concert scene in the end was awesome, and Ren is the man. I can't wait for the reunion.

Great way to end the episode, but I'm not fully convinced of Ren being that good of a guy.

For a moment there, I thought Nana was going to slap Hachi for asking about Ren.

Hachi is such a cry baby. Why does she have to cry over seeing Ren? She has nothing to do with them.

Beautiful episode. I also thought Nana was going to get angry over Hachiko asking about Ren, but it was very much the opposite. This series has me completely sucked in now.

Didn't want to say it again, since it'd be repetitive, but I agree. :) It was truly a great episode.

I don't know if Ren was also crying -- I was wondering that myself -- but he did see Nana. If he acted like he didn't see her, he was just pretending. DX

Hachi's right; Nana tends to act more like a boy sometimes than a girl. XD Must be because she was always surrounded by guy friends before...

It's called empathy. She was feeling for Nana.

Very touching episode. I agree with the poster who said that the characters were so flushed out that they seem like real people. It really lets one identify with their emotions.

My only question/complaint is: There's 2 bands and they only have 1 song between the 2 of them?

Otherwise, awesome episode!

1. Hachi x nana interaction was beautiful. Man tears.

2. Very moving in the concert. Tissues were needed

3. if u think shouji (someone u'd never expect to cheat) is bad, just think about how ren is. he's practically a womanizer.

10/10

The ED is one of the few EDs I can't bring myself to skip. Nope absolutely unskippable.

Now I wonder if Ren's still the same Ren Nana loved.

It was the first time that I got scared of what the characters were feeling. To think that I actually cared for Nana and Ren during the concert. And the song by Trapnest, man, that got me crying. The feels of the song is too much and Reira's voice is so heartbreaking.

I'm here, waiting for you... no need to cry~

Nice to see black Nana open up. Anyway a different episode from last ones. No comedy but loads of drama, but it was important and needed for story.
The song tells no need to cry and they both cry ;o
What next?

I hate it when anime/manga that I enjoyed ends, especially when there could be much longer plot and when I love main heroine :P

What a feel-good series. The pure emotions that run through, to bounce among goofiness to slice of life to sympathy / romance in a single episode - it really combines genres well.

Plus, the vivacious and realistic concert experiences, coupled with the extreme contrasts of life pitted... this makes the series memorable.

And again, still one of the best outro songs of all time.
