An amusing episode. Nobara is an interesting character.

Also, that weird curse monster looks like a deformed Kuriboh.

Quite shocked by this drop too...

I feel like there's more to it, for sure.

The director didn’t ruin GOH, the script writer did. It’s the main difference between this and GOH. The series compositor actually knows what the hell they’re doing as opposed to the person they got for GOH, whose other work of note was bloody Sonic X. The thing was doomed from the start.

The queen is here!! Nobara makes her grand debut in the anime! Loved this episode with her and Yuji teaming up to hunt down a curse. Gojo totally fooled them thinking he gonna take them on a tour of Tokyo. Their reactions were great. The whole episode had Nobara and Yuji reacting to things very vividly and lively. The animation for them acting up was perfect for their characters. Nobara is a great female character to add with our boys. She oozes confidence and stands with her head high. We saw some of her childhood in that flashback explaining why she hates the countryside and who live there with the paranoia and attitude those people have. The Jujutsu they use in this episode was amazing. Nobara showing off with that straw doll technique and how she uses those hammer and nails. Again I habe to say the animation looked great when they were fighting each of the curses. Yuji whipping that cursed knife around like a pro already. Helping out Nobara when that curse took the kid hostage. Their banter made the episode even better.

Nobara's debut was quite interesting, she was really entertaining to see, especially in her interactions with Yuuji.
A lot of funny moments in this episode, since it was more relaxed if compared to the first two. But looks like this won't last long.
They left us with a cliffhanger, let's see how's that going to turn out.

So Nobora joins the group as a girl who wants to leave the countryside and live in the city. She helps Itadori exorcise the curse in an abandoned building by using a unique set of cursed weapons of a hammer and nails. We get a little bit of backstory on why she left the countryside and hopefully she will be able to find her childhood friend in Tokyo. It sad that she had to move back to the city because some country bumpkin assholes kept harassing her. Itadori is also good with that cursed knife he got there.

Nobara instantly fits into the team for me, I really liked the way they introduced her and her backstory. After watching this episode, I am definitely going to read the manga now. JJK keeps getting better every week!

Also....I did the thing where I replayed the opening about 7 times before actually starting the episode lol. Idk bout everyone else, but I believe JJK's opening is definitely one of this seasons best so far. Still gotta see a few more anime and their openings before I decide though.

Nobara flashback caught me off guard, like whaaaaaaat is this flashback doing here this early? It wasn't shown in the manga until later chapters, you know like last week's chapter? Not that it's bad though, it just felt somewhat weird because of what comes after.

Good introduction of Nobara. If anything, her crazyness fits within the team already. She has an interesting exorcism technique, I actually chuckled a little bit when she pulled out that hammer and nails. Also appreciated the pun.. "Nailed it!"

Yuuji has some really insanely brute strength now. Kinda reminds me of the MC from Parasyte getting unhumanly-strength.

The whole sushi discussion post-credit was amazing. Gotta love this group already.

This was legit me, but with the ending instead, before I could start the post-credit scene XD Both songs are great to listen to and one of the best this season for sure!

Nobara is a great addition to the already awesome cast.

The ending got me even more intriqued for next episode but i doubt that they will actually kill one of them off.

Quite literally, They NAILED this episode :) (Everyone except Fushiguro would like this joke)

The queen has arrived! Nobara is one of my top 3 shounen girls because she's so loud, bold and unlady-like which is awesome! I really appreciated her nail pun too... nice sense of humour gurl. With her joining the team, our newest shounen trio is COMPLETE!

I can't wait for Gojo's face reveal... I wonder if people will be as shocked as I was when it happened in the manga...hmm...

The first two episode were just "good enough" for me, but this one, and with the introduction of Nobara, was so damn good and entertaining, I adore her already, she is so funny, stong and also quite sexy, her interactions with our protaginist are pure gold, if she keeps having this much protagonism this show may became one of my favorites of the season.

New character, yay. Nobara's a weird one indeed and that is why she fits in the Jujutsu Tech's first year team cause everyone is weird.

The animation is crazy good with a cool soundtrack that fits the theme of show. I do want this show to become more interesting cause one episode curse killing can't go all the way until the end so I hope this is just the build up until the long term curse battle. I did like the cliffhanger now I'm interested to see what happens next.

Great episode :)

Look I know Naruto comparisons are old and overplayed but I can't help but think of Team 7 when I see this squad of first years plus Gojo lol. Although I would say that the only ones who are even remotely similar to their Team 7 equivalent would be Fushiguro (stoic and serious like Sasuke) and Gojo (lighthearted and relaxed/chill but is actually, I'm assuming, a badass like Kakashi).

Great episode again.

Liking Nobara already, loving all the facial expressions, goes well with the humor. Action scenes continue to be great.
I really liked the scene when Gojou mentioned that Itadori has a few nuts lose with the way he adapted so quickly to the supernatural and that he wants to test if Nobara has a few screws loose as well.

What was with the foreboding text towards the end? Someone's gonna die next episode? Somehow I can't imagine that happening but the show is always welcome to surprise me.

Itadori and Nobara have a good dynamic, they play off each other well. Also, Itadori is absolutely right, why would you not go to the revolving sushi place?

More like Crunchyroll did for all three of the webtoon adaptations so far. They are the ones who decided the number of episodes to be 13 and the ones who decided how far the anime will go while the studios (Telecom, Mappa and Production IG) are simply producing it and trying their best to adapt the chapters with the limited number of episodes given.

Had CR given them more episodes to work with, I can bet that TOG and GOH would be received much better.

You can clearly see the difference between a CR and Toho production here.

So this is Ao no Exorcist, but more buddhist/japanese instead of the European take of that series.

Honestly, this is team 7 with a few more steps: Yuuji is kinda Naruto but better, the other dude is your typical black haired stoic dude and the girl is annonying. Is pretty obvious Kakashi will be the highlight of the show, personality wise. The animation is pretty good. I like it a lot.

The backstory was extremely meh.

Pretty good episode, and with that the main cast has been established. Nobara is awesome and also a dork in fact this whole team is just a bunch of dorks, a bunch of strong dorks that is lmao.

Animation as always is top notch, at this point we shouldn't worry anymore about animation quality because Mappa will surely deliver in that department. And so far, this show has been adapted perfectly. Keep it up Mappa.

small towns usually have tight communities and anyone coming from outside are seen as outsiders and are not easily accepted. so if the townspeople are as judgmental as Nobara's town is, then I'm not surprised that they would do this to Saori.
