| If I could be any anime character I think I would be Luffy. The reason is because I absolutely love what he stands for and his mentality. I don't know if I respect a single anime character as much as Luffy, although Kaiji Itou is close. The scene where he told Crocodile to give back the country, the country that has been gone since he's arrived, made me realize this although I knew it already from how much I adore him, it just made realize it and set it stone. The fight itself with Luffy and Crocodile is one I appreciate quite a bit. Too many times fights in anime are protagonist-san not being able to even hurt the main bad guy until the tides turn. It's rare to see a fight like this one. Indeed Crocodile often finishes Luffy off in one hit as the last two fights went, but that doesn't mean it isn't incredibly back and forth and fast paced. Every single time they've fought, especially this and the last, Luffy beat the crap out of Crocodile. Every single time leaving him looking much worse than last. On top of that the adaptation that the fighters are making is great. Earlier Luffy first used a gum gum pistol, then made it a shotgun, then when Croc was ready for that he baited him and jumped in after the fist. This fight Luffy tried the same maneuver but Crocodile learned and remembered and was able to dodge his bait and get a hit in. The point is even if Crocodile wins in one fatal blow at times they don't feel like their strength is that different at all. I'm sure you could argue that Crocodile isn't going full strength but at the same time Crocodile is the type to play with his food, I think it fits his character to hold off until he must try his hardest. It's a breath of fresh air. Both the scene where the navy called Zoro a dumbass and redirected him and the last scene where Sanji and Zoro had already climbed the clock tower and were like "guys what the heck I was looking for you" made me laugh so hard. That last one in particular had to have been my favorite joke in all of One Piece so far. Side note, it felt like they had a minute remaining for a long time, it seems that yet again time is quite convoluted in the One Piece universe. "In 2 minutes we'll be winners or dead bodies", well put Usopp. This line was so charming I had to bring it up. |

| Zoro accidentally getting ahead of everyone thanks to him misinterpreting the Marines' instructions was hilarious. They only have 30 seconds left and the two cannoneers looks like they'll be more than a handful but I doubt that they won't be able to make it at the last second. Luffy and Crocodile Round 3 finally felt like an actual fight this time around and it's awesome! |

| Well, the location of the canon was finally figured out. How many tricks does Crocodile have?? The fight is getting so dragged on now. Luffy did get scratched by the poison hook a few times. How will he fight now? Mr 7 and his partner are the cannoneers. Pell was taken down by weak ass people like them. |

| Man I just love Luffy. Using his blood like a total boss. Him and crocodile fights have lived up to the hype. Zoro and Sanji getting to clock tower first was so classic lol. |
| Finally Luffy has found Crocodile and they can start their final fight together and my god is this fight so intense. Didn't think that Usopp would pull out a chalkboard and then start clawing at it, just so that he and Vivi could get past the Baroque Works goons. XD Zorro in typical fashion gets lost on the way to the clock tower and it's so bad that the marines have to direct him where it is. You know Zorro's sense of direction when even the Marines have to guide him on where he's supposed to be. The best part with him was defintely him and Sanji getting to the clock tower first before the others was also priceless for me. Great episode all around for me. |
