| Felt like I was just getting comfortable, then before I knew it the episode had already ended The OP is beautiful, the ED is beautiful, the story.... well it's still a bit too early to tell, but from what it looks like, is going to be beautiful as well. |

| Between this episode and the previous one, is it really necessary to have SO many scenes and flashbacks of Miyo's family dunking on her (in such a cartoonish way too)?? Usually almost always followed up by "god I'm so useless, why do I even exist" The opening was gorgeous and the scene close to the end where Kiyoka and Miyo have breakfast together is great, but 80% of the screen time is just let's paint a SUPER sad picture of Miyo's life so the viewer feels really BAD for her. It has the opposite effect and hardly makes for an enjoyable viewing experience. Not only is there zero nuance to the way these scenes are portrayed but there's really no need to drive the exact same point home that many times when it adds absolutely nothing new. I want to like this show but I think I'll move on to something else if the next episode is just more of let's all be sad for Miyo again |

| TW! This Anime will make you want to give fictional characters the worst possible death there exists! I swear... It has only been two episodes but I want to burn Miyo's whole family to the ground!!! 凸(`△´＃) That mother is despicable and oh my goddddd, HOW can a father be like that?!?!?! To his OWN DAUGHTER!?!?! UGH! I truly hope there will be a comeuppance for that whole family and they lose everything they hold dear. If that doesn't happen in this anime I will never be sane again T-T) Besides that, the opening animation was gorgeous! It portrays the characters so well and I really hope it's a way to show us this is how the season will go. Miyo will surely find her happiness and color in life someday >~<) Anywho, I wish Kudo and Miyo would just talk to each other. Idk what Kudo's deal is, being so cold and all (・・ ) ?... At least I understand where Miyo's personality comes from... Poor girl... I hope she will become happy Miyo Gambare!! (｡•́︿•̀｡) |

| I'm confused. Why was Kouji's dad yelling at Miyo's like his son has the wrong fianeee? Last week he told Kouji this was the way to protect her. Did those 2 idiots get their wires crossed? |
| The OP and ED are so pretty, and the visuals are nice. When I heard the ED I went "Is this the same artist in the song for Nights with a Cat?" searched after and found I was right haha These first episodes are really painful to watch, Miyo and her background being introduced. But the title being "My Happy Marriage" makes me look forward to seeing her development and new experiences from now on. Kudou sensing that Miyo is not the usual daughter from a prominent family and asking Yurie to keep an eye on her. I am happy that Miyo has Yurie now, it was very long since she had someone like her (an older sister/friend) since Hana. Miyo crying at the end ;;; and her catching herself several times to not say sorry aww in only a brief time our leads already have gotten/given "warmth" to one another in some way; Kudou still feels real cold though haha I am excited for the supernatural element also. I think I only finished Vol 1 of the manga last year so I barely got to understand the lore for this part. |

| Maybe I should've waited until it's completed and binge it but here I am being impatient about it. The story is very intersting, I feel myself pretty engaged in it. |

| My god, this is too much of "please feel bad for me!". Sure, you get my empathy, but this doesn't make me sad, it makes me laugh, too over the top man, what's with this show? A savior complex fantasy? Give that girl a Shirou or something! She's really cute tho, and I'm just weak for something like this. I like it. ML is too cool, I hope he's actually just a dork. |
| So Miyo was originally supposed to become the fiance of someone else instead of this pretty boy. I wonder if that character will be introduced later on. Another great episode. Just absolutely in love with the animation. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| I had a really terrible day today, but the upside was I finally got a chance to watch this episode. I know mot everyone here is finding it different enough from other series, but for me, this is hitting all the right places in my brain. I'm really enjoying the gradual development of the characters. |
| lmaoooooo I’m not gonna lie. The supernatural aspect coming out of nowhere really took me out of the immersion. I’ll stick with it because the ‘magical’ aspect seems more just an idea to keep the plot moving like if it’s important I’ll be surprised. The op and ed look incredible!!! The ed song got to me most and the subtle foreshadowing of the happy couple have me giddy. I want to see it. Still great episode. Very excited for ANOTHER! |

| Don't step on her comb! What an awful stepmother. It's interesting to see how Miyo behaves around complete strangers. She only thinks about whether she can be useful or not. It's so sad! I'm glad that Kudo asked Yurie to keep an eye on Miyo as he will try and look into the Saimori family. What is this about the Usuba family? There's a mystery! The opening and ending sequences are so nice! |

Makes one wonder whether Miyo's father actually did do something to protect her after all by choosing her fiance. edit: And I have no idea how so many here can be surprised by the supernatural element in this episode's thread... | Her new life is starting to get better slowly. More Miyo's sad past. That stepmother is a real b8tch. Good thing the servants are kind and care for her despite being treated poorly by her family. It's no excuse to treat a child cruelly just because she doesn't have special abilities. Just because Kanoko hates Miyo's mom doesn't mean she should treat poor and innocent Miyo badly. I wonder why the father didn't uphold his promise of giving Miyo to the Tatsuishi family. |
