| Cute episode. I like how Azuki and Mashiro interact more normally. She's such a nice girl :3 Niizuma is probably the nicest 'rival' character I know, I thought he was a condescending jerk at first but he clearly cares about his 'rivals', encouraging them, praising them, and even making sure they are okay. Which is sorta weird because you expect rival guys to be more like assholes toward their rivals lol |

| Good episode, but I agree with others about the 'determination'. Pushing yourself too much won't help you in the long run, in theory. Will see how it turns out in the anime, though! |

| I'm not sure if it was right that Mashiro said to Azuki in her face that manga is more important to her and I'm not sure if it was right that Azuki didn't react at all about that when he said that, personally I think she should be heart broken. I'm not sure if it was right that even though Mashiro is suffering near the end like he is about to die and Azuki still encourages him to draw as if she doesn't care even if he dies. How the romance is presented between Mashiro and Azuki is still as screwed up as ever. |

| Ehhh, it's worse than I would have thought. At least, it's not an hardcore risky operation. The romance in this episode was way better than in the previous episode. They had a good talk and they seemed to have way much more chemistry than when they were talking together before. Mashiro's a masochist, to continue to draw even if he's bending from pain xD It look like he'll receive of a visit from the chief editor and from the episode name, I don't think he'll receive the news he wanted... And people telling that it isn't realistic... You seriously want a realistic anime about mangaka? It would be boring as hell. Also, why are you watching anime if you want something realistic, just watch a documentary, it's kinda stupid to think that way. |

It seems that Mashiro was in a lot of pain and he's risking his health because of drawing. It is like obsession to him and it reminded me a lot about his uncle who died because of overworking. Take a break Mashiro. And wtf, was Miho doing in the end? Mashiro was like almost having an seizure or something and then she thinks it's a good time to draw. Seriously? I'm glad that Miho and Mashiro talked to each other though Mashiro was being kinda mean saying that he'd choose manga over her. And how stupid it was that she couldn't just go straight inside. How the heck are they gonna get married if they can't even be in a same room together?? Anime logic -.- |

| Wow. That was the dumbest, most grating episode of anime I've seen in a long time. The only realistic explanation I can think of is that Mashiro's malnutrition damaged his brain and everyone else around him doesn't want to tell him so they go along with his tantrum. The high ratings for this utterly confound me. |

| They should insert the generic disclaimer "Don't try this at home" at the end after Miho encourages Mashiro to draw. I have no idea why they would encourage suicide in shounen manga/anime. Maybe it would be somewhat acceptable in seinen since the audiences are old enough to think but definitely not in shounen. |
