| I'm a bit surprised not that many people here ponder about whether Kidd survived or not, when this is in fact the most important question (without an answer so far, even in manga) We are probably expected to believe that he and his crew have died. Yes sure, if there's anything we have learnt, then it's never to assume someone is dead in One Piece. Pedro could still be alive for all I know Kidd and his crew were either saved by some of the Shanks' or his allies' subordinates (as thanks for Poneglyphs?), or simply washed up on Elbaf (or any other island) on top of some debris, or saved in some other manner (maybe Law just happened to swim by beneath them in his submarine and picked them up or smth) I'll be honest, I never really liked Kidd, he always bragged so much when he wasn't that much big of a deal, actually IzanaSolos said: they also pull out that 16:9 aspect ratio right off the bat Rather 21:9; it is already 16:9 originally (4:3 in early days) |

| Finally a good fucking One Piece episode again, amazing how good the show can be if we don't follow the Strawhats lol Didn't think it would be that entertaining to see Shanks destroy Kidd like that. Though I assume it won't be the last we saw from him, Law's submarine probably saved him or some shit. |

| What the fuck kinda haki was that? Back in Wano Shanks stopped an attack by a freaking admiral with his I think concentrated conqueror's haki, he wasn't even anywhere near when he did that. Now he saw like a full minute into the future and stopped Kid with one attack. Man I wanna see him and Blackbeard fight for real. |

| I wasn't expecting Kidd to win against Shanks but that was more one-sided than I expected. Animation also looked really nice in this episode. |

| Holy fucking shit this episode. Starting off with no recaps, and cinematics Wrapping up York's subplot, and then contributing the entire runtime to Shanks and Kidd The entire episode was beautifully animated and drawn. I'm stunned. To see Shanks behave like a mainstay character is unreal, and to see him absolutely devastate the Kidd pirates with no mercy and adding Hakoku Sovereignty by Dorry and Broggy on top. Peak. Even Kidd had his own share of action. Shanks is depicted as a kind-hearted pirate and a sound one in the same episode. The Shanks mark on the "To Be Continued" is the just the sweetest cherry on the top. A masterpiece of an episode. |

| Animation was peak, now I regret not watching it on a bigger screen than just my laptop. Isn't this actually the first time we saw some of Shanks' action lol? Anyway Kid had it coming, too arrogant for his own good. |

| now that's the apt power differential which should have been between the Emperors and new age brats .Not series of side plots while making it seem the two are on par or higher for Mugiwara and co. |

| Shanks is basically Roger at this point. Same move and everything. Absolutely incredible to see. In another universe shanks is the main character and not luffy. He might be the strongest in the whole show (or second to the king of the world). What an absolute bad ass. Also it’s interesting to see how beloved he is. Kind of like how Luffy has his people like bartalomo. I do wonder if they are weak and shanks just protects them or if they can fight. Also that observation haki. My god. I don’t think this is the finale end for Kidd. He been to big of character. But like law I wonder if he will be out for awhile. (Still think law going to join up with Kolby soon) Also Blackbeard showing up at egg head totally won’t make this worst lol. |
