| Nice idea, but huge problem - it's not just that you don't need BBCode, you can't use BBCode at all in the new designs. So for example showing the MAL signature in the About Me section like I have it in the classic version will be impossible. Same for even the simplest text formatting, there's no bold or italic text, etc. So I've tried it, but going back to the old one, these elements are rather important parts of it. |

| I worked way too hard on my BBcode profile to switch to this but it's a really nice idea for those who don't feel like bothering with all that. Glad to hear you're not getting rid of the classic BBcode style though... |

| Nice idea, but given that the design choices are severly limited as of now, not really usuable for me. As some people mentioned before, background colour and pattern should be seperate, and preferably we can choose both from a number of options and mix and match. Obviously pattern should not only be the pattern itself, but also allow choosing the colour. Maybe even allow multi selection or varous layers, kinda like a lot of games allow you to create your own icon, especially for heraldry. The design selection makes it look like the image would be part of the design, so e.g. transparent background is filled with the design background. This is not the case at all. The image simply sits above the actual design, kinda random like someone put it together and didn't know what to do with it. Please also allow us to decide if we want the image to be scaled. All three things together would expotentially increase design choices with hardly any work on the side of MAL, opposed to having a number of fixed design that all have to be premade. |
| Been messing around with it, and completely agree there should be more customization options. Not a big fan of being limited to either circle, landscape or portrait format. I think you should at the very least be able to swap between those. But for what it is right now, I've managed to do somthing with it that kinda works for me. |

| okay after how many hours, i finished experimenting this new update. lol i kinda liked it. it's good for users who aren't familiar with bbcode. but just like what others said, i don't like how we're limited to the sizes of the pictures. also, i hope we can also add gifs and maybe the option to use the bbcode inside the template for more customization. |

| Kinda like the feature so far, though I believe it should add compatibility to stuff built around MAL like: https://malheatmap.com/ ; https://anime.plus/ I mean, I loved both sites for giving access to complementary data on tracking one's anime watching consumption: they were a wealth to the website. Other bit I'd like to criticize, the dots and patterns around the rankings added under the picture: I like this but I don't like this. If possible, in the future, add more customization to the pattern, the technology is super cool but the pattern is kinda reductive ATM. |

| Is there a way to fix the white bits at the edge of the circle images? I noticed that it appears and disappears based on what the zoom on my browser. Annoying since it's there for the normal zoom (100%) amount. |

| Not really fond of the new 'about me' that it's just limited 5000 charathers without BB-code. It limits my creativity. I'm going to need spend 5 billion years to cram how complicated I am in just 5000 merely charathers with no lay-out and I have better things to do right now. This new "hey guys, I'm watching these 10 airing anime" is also a bit eh. Why only ten? Ten airing anime each season are rookie numbers. I usually end up with approx. 25 airing anime each season. Just let me show them all! Only 10 are rookie numbers! Let me show them all! |

| You should add 2 more entries to the limit for the portrait ranking (it currently has 6 entries at the top and 4 at the bottom surrounded by empty space) and allow us to pick the same image format for all three. |
| Cool new feature. I had some fun designing my profile. I just wish that there was more option for theme and more option for the image size ratio. Like all three image option have different ratio (one is circle, one is landscape rectangle and another one is vertical rectangle). I hope an option is added so we can choose our own ration for the 3 rankings. |
