| Subaru saying " love at first sight " when he rejected Rem is savage.Bad subaru ! love is a taboo subject right now ! get a hint dude. Since Roswaal expected something like the witch cult attacking the mansion he probably allowed Rem with something to negotiate if anything happens.That's the only way it'd make sense , I don't see Roswaal letting Subaru have access to his resources as he pleases , even if it'd save people. When Crusch thought that the whale wasn't coming and then his shadow appears ... the whole scene was epic. And the ringtone helps with the suspense... oh well back to waiting 7 days left 'till next episode.;-; |

| Isn't there a possibility Master Swordsman (Kensei) is alive. Because she is not forgotten. White Whale may selectively remove people from memories. But I think everyone who is killed/eaten by it is ERASED. Because we don't have a counter evidence up until now. So I believe Kensei is alive. |

| Wow the suspense before the whale showed up with the cell phone alarm was eerie. Really great buildup the entire episode. So far one of my favorites. Went by too fast. I loved the variation right at the credits- creepy enough to give me goosebumps. |

| Even though this was just a set up episode, it was really good. Looks like we will have to wait for another week for the boss fight, but like I said the episode is great, so I don't really mind. |

| A small part of me thought that the Whale was not gonna show up, and everyone was going to turn on Subaru, but I'm glad that wasn't the case ! That ringtone gave me goosebumps, perfect for that scene IT'S TIME TO FIGHT BACK !!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Is it just me or has episodes 1-18 just been in sense a giant prologue to an even bigger story. It feels like everything thus far has just been a setup for Subaru getting grounded and now he is finally ready to do stuff. |
 Not all anime have happy endings, but you should always be left with something meaningful after you watch one... |

| Best episode since Rem's arc ended. Primarily because it wasn't edgelord crap and it didn't have Subaru crying all the damn time. If the rest of the show manages to maintain this level of quality it may have the chance of ending with a good score. I can't give it a really high score though because, like I said, I thought that a lot of this arc was awful aside from this episode, but still. |

| It's been a while since I've seen a Re:Zero episode that I don't hate or despise. The fact that his cell still had some battery left seems like a bunch of bull to me but whatever, Re:Zero isn't the most intelligent series. |
